Good communication and perfect location

Our family of 4 enjoyed the stay. The location is super convenient, close to major transit and tons of restaurants. Only downside is the street noise. It is tolerable when the windows are closed. Diane is easy to communicate to.

It is indeed a great location with a lot of restaurants, cafés and shops around, all in the very heart of the city. As indicated in the listing, the apartment is located in a busy touristic pedestrian street that can get a little noisy on the Friday and Saturday nights, but as you experienced it, with the double-glazed windows it shouldn’t be a problem. I’m sure you enjoyed visiting the Jardin du Luxembourg, the Île de la Cité with the Cathédrale Notre-Dame or the Louvre not far from the apartment. We’ll be delighted to host you again in Paris! Inescapable Noise !!!!

Over all accuracy of this property is good EXCEPT very critical information needs to be shared that there is a dance club and a second bar under your Window. It made it very difficult to sleep until they closed the bars at 4am.

Indeed, it's a pedestrian street with many bars, restaurants and clubs. The area is noisy, especially during the week-end. In spite of this I hope you enjoyed your stay. Disappointing

Evidence & smell of small rodents . Mouse poop found in sheets twice. First upon arrival and then during stay. House keeping brought sheets midweek & they finally sent pest control who took away dead rodent under cabinets. Furniture is run down in bedroom. Ask to be moved to different accommodation. Did not happen.Very loud and bar below doesn’t close till 4am. In description but not the place to stay for relaxing time.

Schöne Wohnung im Herzen von St. Germain

Meine Frau und ich waren bereits zum 2. Mal in der Wohnung. Die Wohnung befindet sich im 2. OG und ist ideal für 2 Personen. Obwohl sie an einer stark frequentierten Touristenstraße liegt hört man fast nichts vom Trubel auf der Straße. Die Küchenausstattung war ausreichend. Der Kontakt mit der Agentur war hervorragend. Unsere Ansprechpartnerin, Mme Diane, war jederzeit kurzfristig erreichbar und sehr bemüht, bei Bedarf Hilfe zu leisten. Die Schlüsselübergabe war problemlos. Die Wohnung war sauber und gab keinen Grund zur Beanstandung. Lediglich der Kühlschrank lies sich schwer schließen. Insgesamt empfehlenswert.

Merci pour votre commentaire, nous avons pris vos remarques en compte et faisons de notre mieux pour rendre les séjours les plus agréables possible ! C’est un très bon emplacement dans une charmante rue avec de nombreux restaurants, bars et cafés, mais comme vous avez pu l’expérimenter, avec le double-vitrage il n’y a aucun problème de bruit. Je suis certain que vous en avez profité pour visiter le Quartier Latin, le Jardin du Luxembourg ou l’Île de la Cité avec la Cathédrale Notre-Dame à une minute à pied de l’appartement ;) Nous serions ravis de vous accueillir à nouveau ! Middle of it all

Nice place and great location to do the tourist thing, close to subway with lots of eating and drinking choices. Make sure you bring all you need to clean and feed yourself. Coffee machine is a nescafe but may change as I was told it was Senseo. Busy street but if windows shut is not an issue but then gets quite warm in summer. Quite historic, Napoleon lived in building at one time I was told. Not sure if true. About 1/3 of messages were returned. You have to clean place when you leave. Would recommend this place though, quite cozy.

Lovely apartment in the heart of Paris

This was a great place to stay. Checkin was easy and since it’s located in the heart of Paris, getting around was a breeze. Highly recommend.

Top Lage. 5min zu Fuß zur Notre-Dame Kathedrale.

Die Wohnung befindet sich in absoluter Top-Lage sehr zentral in der Rue de la Huchette, im 5. Arrondissement, Quartier SORBONNE. Die Kathedrale Notre-Dame und die Metro Station Saint-Michel sind jeweils nur 5min zu Fuß entfernt. Von der Station Saint-Michel gelangt man z.B. in nur 30min Fahrtzeit auch bequem mit einem Regionalzug zum Schloss Versailles. Ebenfalls fußläufig in ca. 20min von der Wohnung kann man das Pantheon, das Musée d’Orsay und den Louvre erreichen. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin und der Check-in waren absolut reibungslos. Die Schlüssel zur Wohnung holt man in einer Schließfach-Station ca. 10min zu Fuß entfernt ab. Man bekommt nach der Buchung eine detaillierte Anleitung mit den Zugangscodes. Alles hat super geklappt. Die Wohnung bietet jeden Komfort, wir haben nichts vermisst. Für uns 3 bot die Wohnung ausreichend Platz. 1 Doppelbett im Schlafzimmer und 1 ausziehbare große Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer (große Wohn-Küche). WC und Dusche/Bad waren getrennt, was wir als sehr angenehm empfanden. Nur ein abschließender Hinweis: Die Rue de la Huchette ist eine Fußgängerzone, in der sich unzählige Restaurants an Bars reihen, dementsprechend trubelig, voll und laut geht es insbesondere abends und nachts dort zu. Die Wohnung ist im 2. Obergeschoss über einem Pub. Wer geräuschempfindlich ist und früh zu Bett gehen will, sollte dort eher nicht (!) wohnen. Uns hat es aber nicht gestört, da wir erst sehr spät zu Bett gegangen sind.

Great apartment but . . .

This is not near the Sorbonne. It’s closer to Notre Dame and there’s a difference. While the apt itself is quite wonderful— Clean, recently renovated, spacious, well-equipped— it’s really noisy given its location on a touristy street. That being said, it is convenient to walk everywhere and the metro is steps away. My main complaint was getting the key and gaining access to the apt. I arrived alone on a rainy evening and had to walk blocks and blocks in the rain with my luggage to get the key from a locker facility. Then, the code written on the key was incorrect, and I was unable to get into the apt, after walking back and forth to get the key in the rain. I have rented at least twenty apts through VRBO and this was the first time that someone did not meet me outside on the street to greet me, get me into the building, and show me how things work in the apt.
