Hi Mark, We’re delighted you enjoyed your stay in our apartment in the famous rue de la Huchette! As indicated in the listing, the apartment is located in a busy touristic pedestrian street, but as you experienced it, thanks to the double-glazed windows it isn’t an issue. In addition to the linen we provide, you can of course ask us if you need more linen. The elevator is regularly maintained and breaks are rare, but sometimes if guests try to load too much luggage in it, the door might jam. In that case, we make sure the maintenance company arrives within 30 minutes, and it is extremely rare that breakdowns last more than one hour with this elevator. I’m sure you enjoyed visiting the Jardin du Luxembourg, the Latin Quarter of the Île de la Cité with the Cathédrale Notre-Dame within a minute walk from the apartment!
