About the host

Host profile image
We’re a local Tailem Bend family with three young kids, running our own small electrical and solar business in South Australia. Life’s busy but rewarding, and we love sharing our space with guests like you.

We’re also proud supporters of The Bend Motorsport Park and love hosting race fans, teams, and event crews. Whether you’re here for the track or a quiet getaway, we’re thrilled to have you. If you need anything during your stay, we’re only a message away (and just down the road!).

Our home is a true labour of love. In June 2025, we completed major renovations focused on comfort and function – perfect for families, couples, and guests visiting The Bend.

We’ve blended modern updates with the charm of the original home to create a relaxed, welcoming space. Whether you’re here for race day or to unwind, we hope you feel right at home.

Why they chose this property

We chose this area for its direct river access, views, and peaceful atmosphere. Staying on the Murray River offers a true escape - quiet mornings, time on the water, and relaxed evenings - while still being close to Tailem Bend, local wineries, and attractions. It’s the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience.

What makes this property unique

Our property combines direct riverfront access, beautiful water views, and easy highway access, making it both a peaceful riverside escape and a convenient stop for travellers. Being located on the Murray River but outside of town offers more space, privacy, and a relaxed atmosphere, while still keeping everything easily accessible.

It’s ideally positioned for guests visiting The Bend Motorsport Park, as well as those travelling through the region who want more than a standard overnight stay. Guests can unwind by the river, enjoy time outdoors, or simply relax and take in the views - all without detouring far from their route.

This balance of river access, tranquillity, and convenience is what makes the stay feel effortless and memorable.
