Great stay

We loved this little house! It was beautiful ranch, we loved that it is secluded and quiet. My family loved seeing all the animals on the ranch and hiking one of the trails. We would definitely stay again if we visit the area in the future.

Beautiful views. Saw alot of deer ,hogs, elk, rams, and exotic axes on the property. Elk came right by me while sitting on the back porch. Really enjoyed this cabin.

The home is very rustic and cozy with everything we needed and is also dog friendly. We enjoyed walking on the trails that are located on the property. We saw several deer, elk and bighorn sheep. You can sit out on the wrap around porch, enjoy your coffee and listen to the elks bugling. If you enjoy hiking - there are 3 State Parks that are less than an hour away. Bandera is only 25 minutes away with plenty of sites to see and restaurants. We definitely enjoyed our stay!!!

Property was amazing; very clean and the ability to see all the wildlife. As there were no close grocery stores or restaurants, my only issue was the mini fridge. We couldn’t purchase food to cook as there wasn’t enough space and no freezer.

Perfect Getaway in Hill Country

My husband and I spent a long weekend here with our 2 dogs. It was lovely and just what we were looking for to getaway. Plenty of areas to walk on the property, wildlife to see, trails. The cabin was comfortable, spacious, and has a grill. The fridge is not full-sized which worked for us but good to know if you plan a longer trip. Recommend dining in Tarpley at Mac and Ernie's for casual, delicious dining and traveling into Utopia for The Laurel Tree for a special occasion meal (BYOB, lunch/dinner served only Saturdays).
