About this property

Erie @ Kimar`s Resort Lake SUP

A quaint, cozy cabin just a short walk to Lake Superior with access to free kayaks/canoes. Centrally located between Marquette and Munising (Pictured Rocks) on 2 lakes, you can easily enjoy the beauty of the U.P. on site or with a short drive. From the property you can paddle, rock hunt, watch eagles, Northern lights, meteor showers, and the sunrise and set over the water. We also have a charter fishing service on site to catch lake trout.

You do not have a direct view of the lake from the cabin, but the property contains 300` of Lake Superior shoreline. You are located next to several other cabins in the resort.

Our resort amenities include a public pavilion, firepit, and shared deck overlooking the lake for Superior views

I am located at the same property and am available anytime you need me. I like to allow guests to initiate how much interaction they would prefer with me as the host.

We have a 7 rental resort in a small bay of Lake Superior known as Shelter Bay. We also have a charter fishing service on site.

This property is part of a resort; there are 7 rentals total onsite as well as a charter fishing service. We have many boats on the property.
We can only host a maximum of 2 guests; additional guest are not permitted. The rental is too small for infants or children.

The property was just between Munising and Marquette which made trips very nice. Cabin needed a coffee table or such at couch for relaxing with coffee. Very nice gift shop, and staff was very friendly and helpful

This little cabin was clean, and perfect for a quick stay while traveling in the U.P

This place was good, not secluded, there were a few other cabins but quiet, pleasant and easy in and out.

Quaint Cottage

Great cabin near the lake

We loved our stay at this cabin. We were just a few steps from the Lake Superior shire where we could watch the sunrise. And just across the street, behind us, was another beautiful lake to watch the sunset. The host was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Amazing resort and host!

I absolutely loved staying at Kimars Resort. The view to Lake Superior is spectacular! Sarah is an awesome host and she make sure that she is always reachable and gives excellent advice to visit places. I also enjoyed meeting Sandy and Coco. I will come back here in October with my parents. I highly recommend staying at Kimar's Resort 😊🌹🌻

Cute Cabin!

Just enough room for my husband and I. Cute cabin with just enough space for 2. We stayed a few nights in this quiet and relaxing resort. Cabin was clean. Bed was uncomfortable though, too soft for our liking, we sunk way in.

Great little getaway

My wife and I rented the Erie cabin for a long weekend. It was absolutely perfect. The little old cabin is a little damp (what do you expect being completely surrounded by beautiful water) but very clean and cute. The resort was quiet, friendly, and near so many awesome activities. We will definitely be back.

Honeymoon at the Cabin

We decided to rent a cabin for a short honey money to decompress after our world of craziness. It was perfect and absolutely what we were looking for. It was quiet and relaxing. Sarah was very accommodating and had great recommendations. We will definitely be back!

Cabin stay

If you want to do their fishing excursions this is a great place to stay. Rustic,clean, and quiet. I was a little disappointed that there were only 2 kayaks available,with one having a weight limit so one of us was unable to go. But overall a very nice stay.

Highly Recommend!

We booked from Thursday-Sunday and the host, Sarah was available all the time during our stay. The cabin was spotless clean and had all the kitchen tools we need to cook simple meals and keep our drinks cold. We were so suprised how beautiful and close the lake was on this property as we were able to get some fishing and bonfire time. Absolutely love this place and definitely recommended for couples who want lake views and quiet getaway stay!

Beautiful Lake Superior

Check in was a breeze. The owners meet us and described the area with explanations of things to due both locally and in the towns/cities. The cabin as very clean and well stocked.The description matched the cabin. Located a nice distance between Marquette and Munising. Watched sunrise and sunset on the deck.. Will come back again.
