It was so relaxing, and we had a great time watching the antics of the pukeko. It was immaculately clean, very comfortable, quiet and private. A real escape from the world. We'd definitely stay again.
What a great accommodation. Surrounded by trees and set in a paddock, we really enjoyed this short stay. What made it very special is the short 3 minute drive to the beach where we saw the sun come up, and thanks to Martina leaving us a fishing rod, could do a bit of fishing. No fish caught this time though!
I loved staying at this place. It is perfect if you want something self contained and quiet in nature, but also close to Takaka and the beach. Good cooking facilities, has everything you need. I'll be keen to go back. Martina was a great host and very responsive. Thanks!
