About this property
Walkable to Slopes, Pool, Hot Tub - Sleep 4
Summary:
CRESTED BUTTE SKI-IN ESCAPE — TOP FLOOR LODGE SUITE WITH YEAR-ROUND POOL & HOT TUB
Wake up steps from the ski lifts at Crested Butte Mountain Resort. This top-floor suite in the Grand Lodge puts you 100 yards from the resort entrance and a 5-minute walk to the lifts — no need to wait for shuttles or drive in the cold. Whether you're here for world-class skiing, summer hiking, or a mountain retreat, you'll find yourself exactly where the adventure happens.
The Space:
THE SPACE
You'll have an entire hotel-style suite to yourself — not just a bedroom. The Grand Lodge is a 3-star condo property built in 1999 with genuine character. Your unit sits on the 5th floor and includes a separate king bedroom, full living room with a pullout couch, full bathroom, and a moderately stocked kitchenette. The building shows its age authentically (think classic 1990s lodge vibe), but offers exactly what you need for a comfortable mountain stay. The property is managed by a separate HOA company that maintains building operations and amenities.
BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS
Sleeps 4 guests total:
• Bed 1: King bed in separate bedroom
• Bed 2: Pullout couch in living room
• 1 full bathroom
The separate bedroom gives couples and families real privacy, while the living area works perfectly for groups or extra guests.
KITCHEN & DINING
The kitchenette includes a mini fridge, microwave, stove, cooking basics, dishes, silverware, and dishwasher. You can prepare simple meals or coffee and grab-and-go breakfasts. If you want restaurant options, downtown Crested Butte is a 6-minute drive away.
AMENITIES & SHARED SPACES
This is where the Grand Lodge shines. Your room comes with access to an impressive array of shared facilities:
• Heated indoor/outdoor pool (open 365 days per year)
• Hot tub (open 365 days per year)
• Fitness center and steam room
• Complimentary high-speed wireless internet
• Complimentary town shuttle service
• Convenient on-site ski storage
• Ski/snowboard lockers
• Free parking on premises
• EV charging station
• Lobby with fireplace and gift shop
These amenities make the Grand Lodge feel like a full resort experience at a fraction of typical resort prices — it's the most affordable building in Crested Butte for this location and quality.

We had a lovely stay at the Grand Lodge. The room was as expected and it was nice to have the pool and hot tub. The check-in process was a bit challenging without a front desk but the owner was communicative and helpful.

Thanks so much for your feedback—I’m really glad to hear you loved the location, cleanliness, and view! Sorry the kitchenette wasn’t what you were hoping for. It is a smaller setup and was noted in the listing, but I totally understand it’s not ideal for everyone. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts!
