We had the best weekend at Mariner’s Landing! The lake views were incredible and we had a blast exploring Smith Mountain Lake. We especially enjoyed hanging out by the pool, renting paddle boards for the day and eating at a few different local restaurants. Amazing vacation spot!!

Easy check in, comfy bed, very cute and cleanly, LOTS of towels, blankets and wash cloths. I could not have asked for a better experience!

Room was okay. Good size. However, my white socks got dirty walking on the floor. Bathroom reflected a few worn areas. Chairs were uncomfortable and linty. Plenty of towels and linen in closet. Could have been better organized to allow guess space to hang clothing and put luggage. Had to live out of luggage set up in small living space. Never received waiver to access amenities. Got locked out of building. Had to find number to call host to access building. First and potentially last time using VRBO. Don’t like lack of personal contact. Had I known Mariners rented directly I would’ve directly from them.

Thank you for the feedback. We're glad the room size worked well, but we're sorry the floors and furnishings weren't up to our usual standard during this stay; we used a different cleaner that didn't meet our expectations and are addressing that. We also fell short on communication regarding building access, which led to the lockout, and that gap has since been corrected. Contact information should've been readily available by email, and we're looking into why that didn't come through clearly. We appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention and are working to ensure future guests have a smoother, more comfortable experience.
