Escape to waterfront charm in beautiful Jervis Bay at this newly renovated coastal cottage with stunning water views from the sunny living area and front bedroom. A welcoming front verandah and a rear deck with BBQ create effortless spots for morning coffee, sunset watching or relaxed alfresco meals overlooking the lush backyard. The property sits directly opposite the path to local swimming areas and is just a short stroll to a nearby boat ramp and jetty — perfect if you’re bringing the rods.

Inside is bright, light and thoughtfully refreshed: a lounge with gas heating, ceiling fan, Smart TV and a selection of books and games provides a cosy hub, while the fully equipped kitchen (new appliances, dishwasher, microwave) and handy laundry with washing machine make stays easy. The rear deck is a lovely extension of the living space for casual dining and downtime.

The cottage sleeps up to five guests across two bedrooms (queen in the front bedroom with ocean views; a second bedroom with a queen plus a king single) and one bathroom with combined bath/shower. There’s room to park two cars and a fenced yard for a little outside space.

Pets are welcome — bring your dog to enjoy the walks and views.

Wonderful Spot

We stayed for a couple of days. Communication and directions/instructions were clear. The view is lovely. It is right across from the bay with rock pools and snorkeling spots to explore. House was really clean and comfortable! It has everything you need (and a few extras). There is wifi and the tv is able to get all the channels and you can log into all your subscriptions. A small shopping cente is literally down the road for all your needs. Will definitely stay there again!

As such we limit our communications to a few important emails, but otherwise we will leave you alone! If you are looking for a host that provides welcome platters on arrival, champagne in the fridge and who will contact you throughout your stay, we may not be the right host for you.

What you will get from us are well equipped, fairly priced, pet and family friendly holiday homes that are loved by their owners.

We work in a people business and very infrequently things go wrong - if this happens we will do our best to rectify the situation immediately. In busy periods it may take us a few hours to get to messages so picking up the phone is the fastest and best way for us to provide you with the support you need in an urgent situation.

As we are a licensed real estate agent you can be assured that all properties are fully insured, meet fire safety standards and are registered with NSW planning.

Why they chose this property

At the Northern side of Jervis Bay is gorgeous Callala Beach, backed by a reserve with barbecues and picnic tables and the most amazing white sand beach you have ever seen (puts Hyams to shame!). At Club Callala enjoy delicious food, lawn bowls and a round of golf on the 18-hole course where kangaroos roam. A courtesy bus operates around the local area seven days a week.

Nearby is the village of Myola and Currambene Creek, a popular fishing spot. You can rent a boat from Husky Hire-A-Boat at Woollamia Boat Ramp and explore the pretty waterway. Take the Husky Ferry from Myola to Huskisson, where dolphin- and whale-watching cruises depart.

Getting to Callala in the wonderful Shoalhaven region is easy. The drive from Sydney along the spectacular NSW South Coast or east from Canberra is less than three hours.
