This is a wonderful rental property. Very quiet and private. The accommodations are very comfortable, attractive and good quality. The kitchen was very well equipped-which was much appreciated. You can tell these hosts have gone out of their way to make sure you have anything you would need. I would highly recommend this lodging to anyone visiting the area.

The property was easy to find and conveniently located to all of the sights we had on our list for this section of the Maine coast. We especially appreciated all of the forethought the host(s) gave to instructions on everything from the TV/Streaming services to the highlights for the area. The place was absolutely immaculate! We had 2 friends join us for our stay. There was plenty of space and we enjoyed the deck for post-dinner conversations and had no problem sharing the bath. The shower curtain with the map of the area was great! We found the plaque at the Inn on Southport Island where our heroine, Rachel Carson's ashes are located and saw her home from the boat we took for a sunset cruise. Only one small comment- we weren't sure if it was ok to hang our bath towels over the gate at the top of the stairs. With 4 people, we needed a bigger towel area for them to dry. If you don't want visitors to use this, the a drying rack might be a good idea. We had a great stay - spent one entire day at the Coastal Maine Botanical Garden - Fabulous for just about anyone!! 5 minutes to grocery store and to Boothbay Harbor. Strongly recommend this location to anyone who loves the outdoors, plants and history.
