This cabin is so adorable. It’s in a very quiet location where it’s very private. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. It is a little bit of a steep climb, but we made it & really enjoyed our stay. Hopefully will visit again.
Great secluded getaway spot for a trip. Four wheel drive is pretty necessary to reach the cabin. Cabin has a cozy feel. No issues. Everything was as described in listing. Not for those with mobility issues, due to steps to enter/leave the cabin.
We really enjoyed this cabin. It is clean, inviting, and well appointed with all the things you might need for a comfortable and pleasant stay. We loved the screened porch and the deck. When we accidentally locked ourselves out, the host was quick to respond and gracious. Highly recommend.
Super cute house in a quiet secluded area. It was great for pets, and the host was very accommodating! Would definitely stay again if we’re in the area!
Had everything we needed to feel at home great location we will be booking again

We had a hard time locating the property we contacted the host and he got us there. It was not a clean as we had expected the counter was sticky and the couch had stains and crumbs on it. We did not stay, the host gave us a partial refund.
We loved our stay at the cabin. It was a tad dicey getting up the drive on the first day with our fully loaded minivan but other than that it was all good. Did t get to tube but next time. Thanks to the Masten family for sharing this wonderful place .
Very private location with a screened in porch to watch the sunset. Close to town for supplies and plenty outdoor opportunities for hiking fishing etc. Would definitely stay here again.
We needed somewhere to stay close to Front Royal for the HOA conference. This was exactly what I was expecting. A cabin in the woods. Rustic. Quiet. Secluded. Lots of wildlife. Lived in. Not beige and sterile. If that’s not your vibe then it’s probably not for you. When we first walked in I was in awe at how clean the hardwood floors were and it smelled good! Something you don’t normally get from a cabin in the woods. I could see where the driveway and road to the cabin might be an issue especially to smaller cars, but it was no worse than our driveway at home so our RAV4 went up it like nothing! The host was very responsive and kind as well.
Seclusion. If this is what you are in search of, very peaceful and quiet.Navigating the rock steps up from the driveway to house can be difficult, especially if you are older or have leg issues. We enjoyed the nice long walk from the home to the river via the road. We never found the short 6 min walk, assuming it was through woods.I know its nature and the outdoors, but some window dressing for the bedroom would be nice for night time privacy and security.Main bedroom bed needs an upgrade, badly. For the price and location, was money well spent.
Could not have asked for a better vacation. The host makes sure you check in ok and all is well. Cabin was exactly as described (if not better tbh). It’s quiet, it’s definitely remote, the sign says 4WD recommended but we never went up our road without it, she’s definitely steep. We had a blast, definitely recommend
This is an amazing rental. The description is spot on “secluded” truly describes the property perfectly. The house is so cute and has all the accommodations you could need. We arrived pretty late in the evening as we decided to get some hiking in before checking in to the property…. I would suggest arriving to the property while it is still light out especially if you are not familiar with the area and the steep terrain. Once we arrived we discovered that the cleaning person accidentally locked both the door locks so it seemed we were locked out but the owner promptly answered and provided the necessary information to let us right into the home. I would highly recommend staying in this property for the perfect rustic getaway. (Has all necessary linens, toiletries, cookware, and bear spray haha)
This is a bit of a dated property and rustic but nice and quiet and perfect for a guys fishing trip. The location is close enough to town to quickly grab whatever you need. George was a great host and very responsive.
George was a great host. This is a bit of a dated property, kind of rustic, but it was great for our guys fishing trip and very good for the price. It was away from town and very quiet, but close enough that you could grab anything you need 10 minutes away.
This cabin exceeded our expectations! Very cozy and convenient location. We were glad it ended up being a rainy afternoon so we could enjoy time in the cabin! Definitely a perfect place to unwind and relax. The description of the drive up is accurate- steep hill but our RAV4 was fine, even with light-moderate rain. We hope to come back!!!
Very nice pet friendly cabin outside of town, yet still close enough to everything. Cabin had everything we needed for a few day getaway. Was very clean and as described. Check in process and instructions were super easy. We enjoyed our stay and 100% would stay again if we come back to the area.
Host was very responsive and helpful. House was very clean. Loved the layout and decor. It was wonderful being right in the mountains in such a sweet, secluded and very homie, comfortable place. We will definitely try to book again in the future!
