Oceanfront Air Conditioned Condo ~ Walk to Beach ~ Amazing Views

Ocean views from living room, kitchen, and dining room. Mountain views and sunset views from upstairs master bedroom. Listen to sounds of crashing waves.

Ground floor unit, except for the upstairs bedroom which accessed via a spiral staircase (guests with mobility issues might have trouble using the upstairs bedroom, but the rest of the condo is ground floor).

A/C installed October 2020 covers entire condo!

Orchid Point is on the edge of a lush green bluff, overlooking the ocean, 'Anini Reef below and the North Shore coastline all the way to the Kilauea Lighthouse. This two-bedroom, two and one-half bath suite, is one of three units in the Orchid Point condominium.

10 - 15 minute walk to Sealodge Beach. Trail is steep, rocky, and narrow, can be slippery when wet. Sealodge Beach has excellent snorkeling at high tide (more of a snorkeling beach than a swimming beach because of the reef). Beautiful and secluded beach great for relaxing.

Orchid Point is located minutes by car to all the North Shore Beaches. Just a 1 mile walk to the Princeville Shopping Center for restaurants, groceries, coffee, ice cream, shopping, and more.

The property is in a great location with the most beautiful ocean view. The owner is very attentive and the unit is well maintained. Use of the garage is a nice extra. The spiral stairs to the 2nd master bedroom upstairs might be a physical challenge for some people, but the 1st floor master suite is very nice. Overall, this is wonderful property. It has everything a guest may need. It made our 1st ever visit to Kauai extra memorable and comfortable.

The highlight of our honeymoon! This rental was the perfect place to wait out Hurricane Lala on the first few days of our trip. It is conveniently located, with beaches & restaurants a short 5 minute drive away, downtown Hanalei no more than 10 minutes away, and plenty of hikes/beaches between. The home is beautifully furnished & fully stocked with any amenities & supplies you might need. We loved staying in the upstairs spiral-staircase bedroom, but appreciated seeing a more accessible option for those with less mobility. Laundry, dishwasher, AC, coolers, and beach toys were all big bonuses as well.Lastly, a huge shout-out to the owners. They were incredibly accommodating with beach and food recommendations for us, plenty of resources for those new to the island, and even a few treats left for us upon arrival. Communication was easy & polite. No complaints!

This spot far exceeded our expectations. The expansive views of the northern coastline from our private lanai were incredible (the photos don’t do it justice), and our kids loved the friendly neighborhood chickens. The condo was well-kept, the beds were super comfortable, having 2.5 bathrooms was such a luxury, and the private attached garage made it feel more like a home than a vacation rental. It was thoughtfully stocked with beach gear, plenty of towels, and all the kitchenware we needed. Albert was also kind enough to let us check-in early, which was much appreciated after a long travel-day, and our arrival was met with a bottle of wine and macadamia nut chocolates. I can’t think of one negative thing to say, and we would absolutely stay here again!

Absolutely enjoyed our stay! Condo was very clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. We appreciated the use of the beach towels, chairs and cooler. We spent a lot of time on the lanai in the mornings and late afternoons/ early evenings. Good communication with the host when I had questions before our stay.

Such a lovely property! Step outside and there is nothing manmade between you and the ocean, adding to the relaxing feel. Having two masters works wonderfully for two couples; let son and DIL have the upstairs suite, accessed via a charming circular staircase. Even enjoyed sitting in the living room and watching the storm and waves during the one very rainy day. Fancy coffee machine that DIL got me up by brewing a cup. Clean and has everything a traveler needs!

We love Orchid Point!

This was our second stay at Orchid Point, and definitely won’t be the last. Albert and Anita are fantastic hosts! We really appreciate all the recommendations for local dining, beaches, activities etc. This place has the best views, great location on the North side of Kauai, with all the amenities you could ever need. We cannot wait to return!

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Orchid Point when we first stayed as guests in 2017. The amazing views, the beautiful walk to Sealodge Beach (aka Kaweonui Beach), and all the details the builder put into the home make for a wonderful experience.
