Residency week for PhD students

We rented this house as a group of colleagues during our residency week at Salve Regina. The proximity of the house to the university is excellent! The house had comfortable beds and was clean. We brought some extra towels and pillows/blankets which you may want to consider as there seemed to be limited towels. One other thing to note- the listing mentioned a “den” room with a bed- this was not a den but rather the landing at the top of the stairs. This may not be an issue among families or close friends. Finally. We loved gathering around the outdoor fire pit when the weather was on our side.

Casablanca is a well-appointed home within walking distance to almost everything in Newport. I’d recommend this rental to anyone looking to visit the area.

Girl's trip to Newport

Great, clean house, very well stocked, easy location. The only thing that would need to be considered is that the stairs are EXTREMELY steep into house and up to second floor. There is a bedroom on the main level, but this would be a hard location for multiple people that might have trouble climbing steps. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this house!

A wonderful home in Newport

Five of us shared this home in Newport, and we could not have been more pleased. The home is beautifully decorated and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. However, the best thing about the home is the location. It is an easy walk to downtown for the shops and restaurants and the waterfront. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. Danielle was extremely accommodating and responded immediately to our questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home and everything that Newport has to offer.
