Hi Nick, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We were a little surprised by the 4 out of 5, as you and your wife seemed to really enjoy your stay and shared some very positive feedback with us. If there was anything that kept your experience from being a 5, we’d genuinely appreciate hearing about it. We take guest feedback seriously and are always looking for ways to make the experience even better. Thanks again!

This is a lovely unit, with a well equipped kitchen and laundry facilities as well. The quiet location is excellent, backing on to the forest and just a block from the main drag of quaint Edgemont Village. Couldn't be better!

This place is amazing for a solo traveller or couple. Well located just off the bus line to downtown. Edgemont Village is within walking distance with trendy restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. The hosts were responsive and kind. We would definitely return.

A little bit of Haven in North Vancouver

We stayed for a week at the Haven for a much needed couples getaway from life and kids. We celebrated our anniversary, a 40th birthday and Father’s Day. The Haven is located in a very welcoming, walkable neighborhood with nearby restaurants, shops and grocery stores. Plus the convenience to nearby attractions made our trip more enjoyable! It was the perfect!

Trusted Location

Everything on the listing was extremely accurate, down to the time to Capilano Park and things to do in Edgemont Village. Location is extremely quiet. Communicating with the owners was very easy leading up to and during the stay. We had a great time staying here!

A rare and perfect get-away

This suite is private, clean and cozy. Well furnished, with a very comfortable bed, and fully equipped kitchen. In a quiet residential neighbourhood., walking distance to 'the village' for all amenities. The hosts are caring and friendly, never intrusive. A great home-away from home.

The property had everything that was needed in the suite. Nothing was skimped on like in some places I have stayed at and all was good quality. I did find one issue regarding cleaning the room from a previous stay but it was minor and likely a one time thing.

Glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay. It is not that we were not interested in you, but like you, we were travelling which we do sometimes. That said, we sent check in information prior to your arrival, we answered your questions prior to arrival and with the check in information we provided contact numbers for both my wife should you have had any issues with your stay. We are always available for our guests even when we are not there, we also had people taking care of the home while we were away. All the best in your travels. T&C

The host was very nice. We had ebikes that they allowed us to store safely in their yard. Shower had great pressure and hot water. Bed was very good. The area was wonderful only 2 blocks from town.We stayed 1 month and felt the unit was too small for such a long stay. Pictures made it look bigger. Also very dark with one small window in bathroon and 1 med. window in bedroom. About 500 sq feet total. Parking was at a premium at times due to daily communters into Vancover. This would be a great stay for a few days or maybe a week, but no longer.

Hi Mariann, We’re so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay and appreciated our efforts to accommodate your e-bikes and other needs. As mentioned in our listing, the suite is indeed a compact but bright and cozy 435 sq. ft. space—something many of our guests find cozy and charming. Parking can occasionally be a challenge due to our proximity to the quaint yet vibrant Edgemont Village, just two blocks away. That said, we’re happy to hear that you, like most of our guests, were able to find parking right out front each day. Wishing you safe travels and all the very best! Caroline & Ted
