Newly remodeled beach house in desirable Easton Point in Middletown RI, within walking distance of First Beach, Newport Beach House wedding venue, and Newport Cliff Walk. Close to downtown Newport, and the many fine restaurants, bars, shops, and attractions of Newport and Middletown.

The 2 bedrooms with queen beds and 2 bathroom design make for easy accommodations for two couples vacationing together, or a small family. Fully stocked kitchen including lobster pot/crackers and shucking utensils for clams and oysters.

Outside, there is a private patio complete with stainless grill and seating. Additionally, there is a shower with foot wash to clean up after your trips to the beach.

There are beach chairs, umbrella, beach tables, breach mats, beach towels, and boogie boards available for use.

NOTE: Pets, smoking and events/parties are not allowed on the property and will result in additional fees.

Wonderful stay

Check in was flawless. The kitchen was stocked well. The bed was very comfortable. It was a very quiet street and a relaxing place to stay. We didn't go to the beach because of the weather but we could see it was within walking distance. We will stay there again if we return to Newport.

Conveniently located cottage

This property is nicely situated in a quiet neighborhood but within easy access to Newport and other attractions. The cottage was very clean, nicely decorated, with the two bedrooms/bathrooms at opposite sides of the house. The owner was aways very responsive and most helpful. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Great place to stay while visiting Newport!

The house exceeded our expectations. The place was spotless upon entry and everything a couple like us would need to make their stay comfortable was available. The bathrooms were great, and the bed was comfortable. I was unsure about the neighborhood from my internet research, but boy my concerns were unfounded. The neighborhood was quiet, tidy and very walkable. We were able to walk restaurants, the beach and the Cliff walk. And Newport is just a few miles away. I would highly recommend this property to couples, small families and maybe two couples, with no children. My wife and I need our own bathrooms when we travel (domestic tranquility!) and this house was perfect for us.

Why they chose this property

The Easton's Point neighborhood is quiet, between the beaches enclave, just minutes from downtown Newport. The neighborhood is popular for visitors due to Newport's major beach wedding venue being situated there. It is also a great area for morning and evening walks with great views of the Cliff Walk, beaches, and ocean.

What makes this property unique

After purchasing the "cottage" about nine years ago, we added a bedroom and bath and updated it to be a four season house with central air and heat. Many very large luxury homes have replaced most of the cottages like ours in the neighborhood. Our goal is to keep the casual, relaxed, summer vacation vibe going that we remember from our youth.
