About this property

Les Petit Maison Walkable to Downtown Black Mtn

"Les Petit Maison on Vance" translates to "the little house," but it is BIG on charm! Recently renovated and ready for you to fall in love! Less than 1 mile from Downtown Black Mountain, walk to locally owned restaurants, quaint shops, and fun, laidback breweries. Enjoy front porch swinging in the morning with a cup of coffee or relaxing in the hammock after a day of hiking and exploring. No fire pit is complete without s'mores, so look forward to making yourself at home at Les Petit Maison!

We have two comfy bedrooms, the primary has a king bed and ensuite bathroom with two sinks - please note the 2nd sink is the process of repairs and is not working at this time. The second bedroom has a Queen bed. There is second bathroom with a shower. Our third bed is a Murphy bed in the living room. The Kitchen has everything you need for cooking and we have a propane grill on the back porch for you to use as well.

Please Note: The driveway is a shared driveway with the neighboring house. If you need to park on the side of the road, you may do so but please do not park on the sidewalk.

The kitchen was well equipped it was very clean and close to downtown we were able to walk to town and didn’t have to worry about trying to find parking there is a view of the mountain from the front porch swing where we spent a lot of time relaxing the host stayed in contact by email always checking on us to make sure everything was good would stay here again

The house is very cute. The bedrooms are very small but comfortable. The master bath has double sinks but only one seemed to be hooked up to water. The couch pillows could use a refresh; they are looking a bit grubby and tired. The location is great for walking into town. All in all, it was a very good experience.

The location was great! We loved being able to walk everywhere! Recess coffee shop has the best pastries & coffee! The house was perfect for 2 of us. Plenty of space for 2 people. Very comfortable accommodations. We didn't cook so I can't comment on the kitchen.

This is a very comfortable, well kept house in a great location. The many upgrades are tasteful and enhanced our stay. We normally don’t cook on vacation but did this time and really enjoyed the well laid out and fully stocked kitchen.

The home itself is clean and cozy. While it is a smaller older home the space lived very well for three of us (my husband and I, plus our adult daughter). The master has a king bed which was comfortable for sleeping. The bathrooms were clean and appeared recently updated. Tiny bottles of shampoo and conditioner were provided. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking (minus a cutting board, and no coffee was provided). The family room sofa was comfy for relaxing and we enjoyed sitting on the front and back porch. The home was also really close to town, we walked to Louise's kitchen (yummy) and into downtown on a few occasions. Of note when we pulled up to the house you immediately notice that the house next door is in serious disrepair making it feel like not so nice of a neighborhood. After exploring the area it felt plenty nice and safe.
