Gulf of Saint-Tropez, le rayol Canadel, magnificent apartment-house with sea view.

The song of the cicadas, the sea as far as the eye can see... Relax, you are on holiday! This apartment, small but functional and perfectly equipped, fully air-conditioned, is located in a small condominium of 4 very quiet apartments. A parking space is allocated to you at the bottom of the residence. You climb about thirty steps and you arrive at the top of the residence, you will find a gate that opens onto a large shaded terrace facing North, with deckchairs, garden furniture and dining table for 6 people to enjoy meals outside (electric plancha at your disposal). The sea view, on the side of the terrace, is very beautiful, and you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets.
From the terrace, you enter the apartment on the ground floor: you are then on the ground floor, but you are nevertheless located on the ground floor of the condominium! You enter directly into the living room, with kitchenette, living room and dining room opening onto a balcony with an exceptional sea view. The sea is less than 50 metres below! A door delimits the sleeping area, composed of a master bedroom with a 180 cm bed and a beautiful sea view, which opens onto the balcony, a bathroom with bathtub located in front of the bedroom, and a separate toilet.
ATTENTION!! A spiral staircase, difficult to go up or down for small children and the elderly or people with reduced mobility, leads to the ground floor of the apartment.
Under the eaves is the mezzanine overlooking the living/dining room below, with a double bed 140. A small corridor leads to a bedroom with a sloping bed 140, and a bathroom with shower and toilet.
At the foot of the apartment, there is the cycle and pedestrian path that runs along the sea and leads you to the beach in 10 minutes on foot. The walk is pleasant because it is often shaded and not very crowded in summer. All the surrounding beaches are wonderful, with clear and transparent water. (Canadel beach and Pramousquier beach)
You can also swim 3 minutes from the house at the bottom of a cove with transparent waters (with wide rocks but no sand). Saint-Tropez and its crowds are 25 minutes away by car. Here you are quiet, far from the crowded seaside resorts and traffic jams of the Var coast. You will find in the village of Rayol-Canadel, a few kilometres away, (5 minutes by car or half an hour on foot), a butcher's shop, a tobacconist/ newsagent/ bookseller/wine merchant/delicatessen, a mini-market, a bakery, a photographer, a hairdresser, a pharmacy and doctors, and a swimwear store, and a market on Fridays!
If you prefer not to take the car, a mini-market is a 5-minute walk away by taking the track below the apartment. Many restaurants are also within walking distance. The Domaine du Rayol, the Mediterranean garden, a protected natural area, is nearby and is located on an exceptional site.
You can do your big shopping in Le Lavandou or Cavalaire, 10 minutes away by car. The islands of Levant, Port-Cros, and Porquerolles are 45 minutes away by boat. The coastal path is full of fabulous landscapes.
In short, it's a little corner of paradise that I want to share with you. I will be happy to inform you about the activities to do with friends or family, as well as to give you my good tips for restaurants.
It should be noted that the departmental road is located about fifteen metres above the residence. It cannot be seen, because the residence is below and moreover a wooded area with Mediterranean species separates the road from the residence. You can't hear it at all from the apartment, nor from the bedrooms. However, when the cicadas are not singing, you can still hear the noise of the road on the terrace, even if it improves with the electric motors. Visitors did not find it annoying, however I mention it for your perfect information.
We are always turned towards the sea and the superb view makes us forget everything else!
