A quiet retreat in the city!

We really enjoyed our stay here as our apartment was close and central but quiet and peaceful when we returned from the bustling streets. Patric welcomed us and was very helpful and friendlywhen we required help over working out the TV! It was a pleadure to stay in such a comfortable and spacious apartment.

Great location, quiet and comfortable

The property manager was lovely and checked in regularly. A fabulous neighbourhood close to some great walks, shops, bars and restaurants. The apartment is an oasis in a bustling neighbourhood with courtyards on either side and a nice cross breeze. Some updating would be a bonus for the high fee but that said we had a wonderful time here with everything we needed for a wonderful stay.

Spacious, great amenities & location!

This comfortable Paris apartment was a great place to stay for our first-time-in-Paris visit. The amenities are terrific - everything we needed was there. Well-appointed spacious kitchen. Two sofas and two comfy chairs in the living room allowed us to relax in comfort. And the location was incredible! Highly recommend.

This is a property which is diminished by a lack of concern about the quality of details of hosting. The dimensions and architectural details are very good. Appliances and kitchen utensils are good. The toilet seat of one ensuite was broken. The manager said it had recently been fixed, was uninterested in the making of a repair during our stay and told us to use the third toilet located off of a utility room that connected with the living room. There was a screw on the floor of the ensuite toilet which screw was discovered by stepping on it barefoot. Also a broken toilet paper holder was on a small table next to the toilet and another partially installed toilet paper holder on the wall. Towels and linens were not expected to be high quality but also were not expected to be coarse and with the bedsheets not a good size for the bed. In the kitchen, on the first morning, we cut some bread and left it on the counter for 30 minutes during which time ants discovered the bread. There were a couple of other items which also reflected missing attention to being a host. The owner who has some of his paintings showing has good architectural and furniture sensibilities. What is missing in better quality towels, bed pillows, and bed sheets might cost less than $1,000 euros in total, An extra $20/ night would more than recover the cost. As to poor and incomplete repairs, that requires management to provide ongoing oversight. This could have easily been a 5 star stay.

Shabby but not chic

The location in the Marais is great and the property manager is lovely. She is always available and her husband helped us with our luggage. This is a difficult place for people with mobility issues- stairs to the door and the apt. And inside the apartment - charming old building with uneven floors and small steps between rooms. But mostly it’s not well kept up- shabby towels with stains, thin sheets, dishwasher not installed properly so it moves, leaking nespresso, unemptied garbage on arrival, no napkins, and repairs with peeling silicone in kitchen and bathroom. Must have been nice once but needs an overhaul.
