Very clean and ready for our two night stay. Quiet and peaceful grounds that were easily walkable to colonial Pemaquid sites. Hosts were very good at communicating about our needs and making sure we were okay with everything!
We had a wonderful stay. The cottage was very clean comfortable and cute. As described in listing, the cottage is a bit of a walk from the parking area. But the location of the cottage (with dappled sunlight, picnic table and grill) is very pleasant. We paddle boarded at several high quality locations in the area. We also enjoyed a couple of hikes and ate great seafood. We would stay here again.
What a wonderful location! We were walking distance to the beach and a 15-minute ride to Pemaquid Lighthouse. The cottage was clean and well-equipped, and it had a king-size bed. The host was very attentive. We would stay here again in a minute!
The cottage was everything we wanted for our mini honeymoon. Perfectly relaxing, comfortable, and well-equipped with just what we needed. We loved using the grill and firepit, and the beach was just down the street. A truly wonderful stay, we hope to come back again in the future.
This cottage is super cute, clean, secluded and quiet. We stayed for a little under a week. Easy drives to all the local points of interest. We saw puffins on the Hardy Boat cruise. There’s a pretty little beach within walking distance.
It was a perfect cabin for two. Cozy and clean, well furnished and a very short walk to Pemaquid Beach and Colonial Pemaquid. Our host was wonderful and responded quickly to questions we had. We will be back for sure!!
The Hightide Cottage was in a great location. Was quiet, relaxing and very cute. It is nicely decorated. There was only one problem that some people might be disturbed by big black ants. But thankfully they stayed on the floor and they were slow moving so could be stepped on easily. Otherwise, it was perfect.
This was our second time staying here and it was just as wonderful as the first time, if not more so. Our hosts checked in with us prior to our arrival, and again once we had arrived. Cottage is exactly the right size, kitchen is stocked with essential cookware, and the bathroom has been updated to include a very nice shower. The temperature was in the 40s when we visited and although the cottage does not have heat, the portable heater provided was very nice to have.Beyond the essentials, the cottage has a grill, picnic basket, and several board games; we taught ourselves cribbage when it was too rainy to go out, which was a great way to spend the time. We loved the Victrola radio during our last stay and were very happy to see it was still a feature, which we used every moment we were inside.Overall, another wonderful stay. Would highly recommend for a quiet vacation, steps from the beach, and would certainly stay here again.
The cottage is small and cozy, well located close to the Beach and Fort William Henry and old Pemaquid, minutes from Pemaquid Lighthouse and New Harbor. We have enjoyed our stay at High Tide.
