About this property

Across the road from Pemaquid Beach — quiet wooded king-bed cabin

EBB TIDE CABIN — ACROSS FROM PEMAQUID BEACH (KING, SLEEPS 2)

A one-bedroom cabin tucked among the trees behind the historical Laughton House, in Pemaquid Village on Maine`s midcoast — across the road from Pemaquid Beach State Park. For couples wanting simple, unplugged Maine: morning coffee on the porch, afternoons on the beach, evenings around the fire pit.

THE CABIN
One bedroom with king bed, full bathroom, and separate living area with a small but full-featured kitchenette — four-burner stove, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, basic cookware and dishes.

OUTSIDE
A private picnic table and lounge chairs. Your own propane grill. A fire pit shared with the other two cabins sits a few steps away, along with hammocks strung between trees.

WHAT`S WALKABLE
• Pemaquid Beach State Park (across the road, 0.2 mi)
• Mimi`s on the Beach for fish tacos (0.2 mi)
• Fort William Henry colonial fort (0.3 mi)
• Maine Kayak for kayaks and SUPs (0.4 mi)
• C.E. Reilly & Son grocery (1 mi)

SHORT DRIVE
Pemaquid Point Lighthouse (3.5 mi). Monhegan Island ferry from New Harbor (1.5 mi). Damariscotta (15 min) for Hannaford grocery, oyster bars, bookstores. Boothbay Harbor (35 min) for the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens and whale-watching.

THE PROPERTY
Ebb Tide is one of three small cabins (Low Tide, Ebb Tide, High Tide) tucked in the woods behind Laughton House — the 4-bedroom main house on the property. Each cabin has its own grill, and parking. The three cabins share a wooded courtyard with a fire pit and hammocks.

ALSO ON SITE
Level 2 EV charger (shared with usage fee). Free fiber WiFi. Free parking (1 dedicated spot ~75 yards from the cabin door).

ADDITIONAL FO
The cabin is uninsulated and seasonal — heaters and fans only, no central HVAC, no in-cabin laundry. The whole property runs on a shared well; please conserve water in late summer. We are not a pet-friendly property (ADA service animals welcome with advance notice — please reach out before booking).

Good

The cabin holds a small kitchen with little working space to cook on. The cabins are set in the woods facing trees and buildings, contrary to the picture shown on the Vrbo cottage rental site, which shows the cottages on a hill with a clear view of the water and the beach.
