About this property

The White Aster is a 2 story home located at the heart of historic St Elmo in Chattanooga. At the base of Lookout Mtn, it's just a short drive up the mountain to Rock City and Ruby Falls. Walking distance to the incline, 1885 Girll and more. If you really want to experience some amazing views, park at the base of the mountain and take the Incline Railway up to Point Park where you can experience majestic views and some of the Civil War history of Chattanooga. Come enjoy Chattanooga with us at the White Aster - your home away from home!

PLEASE NOTE: Although we are DOG friendly, we do NOT allow cats. For dogs, we charge pet rent of $25/per night per pup. (THIS WILL COME AS A SEPARATE CHARGE AFTER BOOKING AND IS NOT AUTOMATICALLY INCLUDED WHEN YOU BOOK YOUR TRIP). If you have not disclosed that you will be bringing a pet in the booking process, please let us know. Although we are a pet friendly home, due to allergy issues of future renters we request that pets not be allowed on furniture (particularly in the bed). We also prefer pets be crated if left alone. Please pick up after your furry family member!

Damage Fees If Applicable (ranges are based off item size and quality):

Towels: $4 - $38 per item
Bedding: $8 - $66 per item
Comforter: / Encasements $88 - $141 per item
Pillows: $27 per item

Furniture / Decor / Fixture: Charged to guest according to vendor repair invoice

Excessive clean fee: $50 - $200 depending on extent of work required

Smoking inside property: $200 per day of your stay

Please be advised, for stays 30 days or longer, we require a "mid-stay" clean approximately every 15 days. The reduced cost of these clean(s) will be added together if applicable and calculated according to length of your stay - THIS ADDITIONAL COST IS NOT CALCULATED IN THE LISTING PRICE WHEN YOU INITIALLY BOOK and is due upon booking. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. For this location, each clean will cost $105.

(For stays of 30 days or longer) A starting supply of consumable goods (paper towels, toilet paper, coffee) will be provided upon check-in. For extended stays, guests are responsible for purchasing consumable goods if they need more outside of what is initially provided.

This property features a functioning chair lift to assist with moving up the stairs.

PMI Scenic City requires a rental agreement for all of our properties. Must be 21 or older to rent this property.

Great house and location!

The White Aster is a beautiful, well kept and clean house! Lots of room to relax and sleep. The location is absolutely perfect for us and close to so many attractions. We will certainly be visiting this house in the future!

Could not be better

We were familiar with the area as my niece lives directly across the street so we were prepared for the hill. That was really the only challenging part. The house is very nicely decorated with just enough decor. All the beds are comfy & each room is homey. The back porch was the perfect place for morning coffee & nightly cocktails. The property manager checked in & promptly responded to questions. Perfect spot for a party of 6.

Girls' Getaway

We LOVED our stay for many reasons. The location was ideal and the home was charming and super clean. We will recommend this host to anyone visiting the Chattanooga area. One small complaint, the thermostat downstairs was locked and we couldn't control it. It was often too warm downstairs. Upstairs was extremely comfortable for sleeping!! We absolutely loved this property!

Great Family Vacation in Chattanooga

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home!! It was clean, comfortable and conveniently located! Near restaurants and super markets as well as Chattanooga attractions. Communication with the property manager was excellent. Would highly recommend!

Quick Mothers Day Getaway with the Moms

My wife, daughter & I brought both of our Mom's to Chattanooga for a 3 day weekend. Hope is very clean & well decorated. Logistically convenient to so much. Several dining options within walking distance. The grocery store is visible from tve property. Downside is the hill that the driveway is situated on and some of the adjacent homes are in poor condition. Beyond that, its a wondeful place to stay if you're considering St. Elmo.
