The house was perfect for our trip. It’s just outside of Fairbanks and on the same road to Chena Hot Springs. If it’s not cloudy you’re in great position to go view auroras.
Great location if you want to be just out of town but still close to everything. Clean house with everything you need. We had plenty of room and enjoyed our stay!
Enjoyed our stay at this property. House was clean and had a good selection of kitchen equipment. Tina was quick to respond to any questions we had. Even able to see the northern lights during our stay here.

Tina's house is exactly the same as described, clean and fully functional. We spent three very satisfactory days here. The only regret is that the Internet speed is a little slow.
We really enjoyed Tina's place. Location is outside of town which we preferred, you are in nature and aurora was outside the door when the lights were active. The house was great, could fit a large family or two, but it was just my husband and I and we fairly enjoyed ourselves. My favorite part is the windows overlooking the forest.
Comfortable relaxing and quite full furnished house. Open the windows for a cool night, deck in back was great in the morning hours. A bit closer to the trails headed towards Chena makes the search for wildlife simpler. Overall we’d return on our next trip to Fairbanks.
This is a fantastic place, Not to far away from Fairbanks but far enough away to be good.
Everything in place and beds were comfy.
The only thing was that we had no idea where the password for the Wi-Fi was and it took the owner a while to get back with us. Also the main bathroom shower had dirty footprints in it but that was easily cleaned up.
All in all we loved the place and would come again.
We enjoyed the great location outside of Fairbanks and used it as a quiet evening resting spot between our day trips around the area. We enjoyed the balance of being "out in woods", but not too secluded to feel unsafe, with easy access to various services in Fairbanks. The property was clean and just as advertised and had the all the amenities our family needed. Bring insect repellent if you plan to spend time outside. Tina was very helpful and quick to respond to all my questions.
This lovely home was a perfect stay for our party of 6. The house was huge had everything and was super clean. We had a pleasant stay. We stayed here for the last 2 days of our Alaska trip and we almost lost hope for Northern lights. And just like that a friend went to the patio and looked in the sky, there it was two lines of aurora and we chased the northern lights in the Chena River State recreation area. I wish I could share pictures but we spotted beautiful aurora. I’m so glad I chose this house otherwise we would’ve missed the only chance at Northern lights in our trip l.
After visiting family in another Alaskan community we needed a place to rest and relax for a few days and this home and property fit our needs perfectly! We enjoyed the size of the house, the privacy & solitude of the property, the large deck with BBQ, the many extra's that were in the house (sea salt, spices, condiments, extra towels, pillows, throw blankets, large washer & dryer, etc.) but most of all.... the beds! They were comfy and cozy! The owner was quick to respond to questions and very accommodating. We will make sure to book whenever we return to Fairbanks!

Fairbanks 2023 Vacation
We didn’t stay at the property because there was a strong odor coming from the garage that permeated throughout the house. It was irritating to our eyes and gave us headaches. We had to keep going outside for some fresh air.
The house is beautiful and had pretty much all the amenities for a comfortable stay, even with kiddos in tow! The hosts were wonderful, communicative, and prompt. The location was wonderfully tucked back off Chena Hot Springs Rd with beautiful forest all around and quiet neighbors. We loved staying here and should we be looking for another VRBO in the area, we would absolutely choose this place.
Good base camp for visiting Denali (2 1/2 hours away). House was comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. Great communication with homeowner. Close to Chena Hot Springs and Angel Rock trailhead. Two things you must do.
I had family up from out of state and we couldn’t have found a better place to stay. Tina was very responsive to all of my requests. The house is centrally located to Fairbanks, North Pole, and Chena Hotsprings. It was very clean and well stocked. Thanks, Tina, for making our stay so pleasant!
Comfortable, clean place to stay. We drove a couple miles down the road and saw the aurora borealis and enjoyed a visit to Chena Hot Springs about 45 minutes away!!!
We needed a place to stay for a few nights while visiting with our son and his wife. The home was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Definitely could have stayed longer if we had the time.
This spacious, well-equipped house in the woods was a great place for our family to get away from our usual routines and spend time with each other playing games, watching movies, and embarking on expeditions to find Northern Lights.
This house was perfect and checked all the boxes for us. We were in Fairbanks to go to Chena Hot Springs and to visit family in North Pole. The house is about one hour away from Chena Hot Springs, and it's outside of the hustle and bustle of Fairbanks.
We have two daughters ages 10 and 13, so the two rooms besides the primary bedroom were great. Even though we didn't use the one extra room since our girls loved the bunk bed and wanted to sleep in that room each night.
The primary bedroom is great. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom, with two sinks, makes getting ready a breeze. The kitchen is also great. It is big and has everything you would need to cook a meal or to just snack and chill. Speaking of chilling, the couch with a built-in recliner was the icing on the cake.
There was also a tree house in the backyard, which the kids got a kick out of!
The check-in process was easy, and Tina was accessible for questions. Most importantly, when we arrived the house was clean. We judge a VRBO house based on its cleanliness and this house was top-notch.
If you want a house that's great for a family, is very clean, well-stocked, and secluded but not so far away from everything that it takes forever to get where you are going, this is the house for you.
