Come on in, sit back and take it easy. This charming cabin has an open floor plan with a wood stove to center it. The cabin comes with a queen size bed and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a Keurig coffee maker for your convenience. The bathroom has a tub and shower combination. Please know that the hot tub is no longer inside the cabin, but out on the front deck in the fresh open air. Watch streaming channels on the flat screen television. Relax and enjoy. This cabin is close to Unicoi State Park and about 4-5 miles from downtown Helen.

This is an open studio floor plan.

• Minimum Age Requirement: Lazy Bear Den is available to families or to guests 21 years or older.
• Parking: Space is available for 2 vehicles.
• Access: The road is dirt and gravel. Road not suitable for low profile vehicles
• Pets: Pets are not allowed at Lazy Bear Den.

When we arrived i was skeptical. The outside needs renovating mostly the deck needs cleaning off and some repair and trees need cut and trimmed back. No instructions on the hot tub and once I kinda figured it out only half the jets worked. Looked as the deck nor grill had been cleaned in a while. I spent alot of time knocking spiderwebs down and off the grill itself. The front door is warped and very hard to open and unlock. The 10 digit code is Lil extreme. Once inside everything was great. Bed is very comfortable, bring an extra pillow. We only stayed 2 nights but enjoyed it. No firepit but trees are so close and dead pines surrounding the house I wouldn't recommend one for now. I would stay again. The host did call and took note of complaints on door and spider webs outside on deck and grill. Still don't understand how their inspector missed that without walking through them like I did.

Delightful mountain cabin only minutes from Helen and Unicoi

The cabin is clean and well maintained, and the location is very convenient for visiting area attractions and state parks, while remaining just far enough away to feel secluded :)

Short Getaway

It's really basic and not very scenic on the outside. The inside is great and was perfect for having a few relaxing days together. Really close to Ana Ruby Falls and Helen. Great launching point.
