I found this home to be very comfortable and easy. The check-in was simple and everything was as described. The owner is immediately available in several ways, providing all the info I needed to make my stay go smoothly. Checkout was easy!
The beds are really comfortable, the kitchen had everything I needed, and the living areas are cozy. I particularly appreciated all the natural light. Great location!
I would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay in Montpelier which is a sweet little town close to many activities in the region. The host has ensured that all creature comforts are available in the house, with simple instructions on where things are, recommendations for local restaurants and easy clean up at the end of our stay. The host was very easy to contact and she was quick to respond. I would recommend this property for anyone looking for a cosy get away in a beautiful part of the world.

Everything was comfortable and welcoming except the mattresses and bedroom window coverings. The best mattress was in the back bedroom where the windows had no coverings. When I asked about window coverings. the host told me there were eye masks available. I didn't think that was a good solution. To be fair, there was no one but deer looking into those windows but I'm not sure you should call a room a bedroom if the windows have no covering.
My family was happy to spend another winter break in this cozy and welcoming home. It has everything we need, very comfortable beds and a beautiful fireplace. We were there for a big snowstorm, so we also took advantage of the huge TV and also passed the time playing some of the board games that are available. The roads were quickly plowed and we enjoyed spending time in the lovely town of Montpelier. We particularly enjoyed visits to the Three Penny Taproom and Langdon Street Tavern as well as The Capitol Theater and The Vermont Historical Society Musem - which are minutes from the house. Hope to visit again!
This home was perfect for our family winter vacation. Beautiful surrounding woods gave the feel of a snug country cabin, but the well plowed street was easy to access with our Honda Accord in snowy weather. We enjoyed fires in the beautiful fireplace nightly and sledding on the hill out back. Minutes from Montpelier, we were able to enjoy the shops, restaurants and wonderful movie theater with ease, and also some serious sledding in beautiful Hubbard Park. We also made several day trips to Stowe, Barre, and Waterbury with ease. The beds, sofas and chairs were all super comfy, and the ample supply of board games was a treat! We felt absolutely at home the entire time and hope we have the chance to stay again.

I had never had a complaint about my cleaners in the past. I refunded your cleaning fee. I am sorry you were unhappy.
This is a pleasant, pet-friendly location within walking distance of downtown Montpelier. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. It is well-suited for a stay of a week or more. My dog thought it was a great place to stay too. There were good places to walk her close to the house's location.
The owner was extremely accommodating. Because of a winter storm, I was concerned about driving to the house on my scheduled start date. The owner agreed to let me check in a day early, ahead of the storm. She was also quick to get in touch with information about where to find candles and other supplies when the storm caused a temporary power outage.
For part of my stay, I hosted other family members at the house. There was room enough for all three of us and we could have fit in another couple of people as well. We enjoyed the outdoor space around the house. Adding a patio or deck to the house would be nice, though.
I would definitely rent this house again!
