We really enjoyed a last minute booking at Ponderosa Paddle. We have friends that own and we came up for three nights. Kids enjoyed the games downstairs and the deck was great for dining. Also nice to have Blue Lake Springs amenities available which we used. Pet friendly is a must for us so that was great to bring our dog. Would stay again!
Cute and cozy cabin. The 9nly down side is that they have an old electrical panel. Within 15 minutes of checking in the power was out except the living room and dining area. Property management was called and they sent someone out immediately. We were told that sometimes the electrical panel trips. Little did we know that we would have to reset it every hour or two, including all through the night so everyone would have heat.

Hi Claudia,
Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. We always value our guests feedback, and apologize for the breaker issue during your stay. A new Heating and Air conditioning system is being installed at the property this month, which should remedy the issue of wall heaters tripping the breakers. We hope you stay with us in the future, and are glad you enjoyed the home.
Cabin itself was nice and just as decribed. Clean and has basically everything you could need. The cabin was very welcoming and the A/C is great ..downstairs has no ac though just fyi. Location you can hear and see hwy 4 thats only location complaint but it’s not a big deal at all. I would recommend darker curtains for the livingroom area since they is totally see through and does not keep the sun out and better quality kitchen pan and pots. If you plan to cook alot I would bring your own. Biggest complaint (not a negative involving the cabin) is upon arrival my mom was able to pick up the keys with just my name and they got to the cabin about 25 minutes before I arrived and once I got there I realized it was a total different cabin than the one I rented. We had to jam back to the realty office before they closed and was told that yes we were given the wrong keys and were then given the correct keys and address. So that was very concerning essentially being in someone else’s cabin that we had no business being in for those 40 minutes or so. Definitely would recommend though regardless!
