Condo was very misrepresented on the VRBO website. The unit was not well cleaned and furniture needed badly to be replaced a long time ago.The beach re-nourishment was still in front of the unit. We messaged with the owner and asked about these issues. The response was the condo was clean and lovely and the beach re-nourishment was further north and south of the unit. After two days we moved to another unit in a different building. I

Great place to relax

We had a nice stay in this comfortable unit. We had most things that we needed. The beach access could not be beat along with the sunset views. The pool are was a favorite and other residents respectful of one another. We had a great time and would recommend this unit and location!

Other than the heat, our stay at Casablanca was great! Plenty of of room my family of four plus grandma. Kitchen is stocked well, although dishwasher and fridge have strong mildew smells. Small quiet complex with easy access to beach. Would suggest upgrading key system to pool. Outdated and hard to use. Would definitely return to this property.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was nice, it could use a coat of paint. It was a warm Thanksgiving. The thermostat had a sign that said that you could not set the air conditioner above 76 or it would freeze. They threatened to make you pay the service call if that happened. For those of us not used to the humidity this made the stay a bit uncomfortable. Especially during the night.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the location of the condo! We love the layout of the condo. We love that it has a pool. We love it has a wood bridge to beach. Overall we have loved our vacation in this unit. Property description was accurate. We plan to return for many years and would recommend. However there are a few improvements we hope to see before next year. Needs some paint on scratched walls, dishwasher needs to be replaced, sofas are not so comfortable(Maybe get two comfy recliners or chairs) , needs new chair in master, mattress could use update as it is a little hard,and it is not possible to watch tv in family room unless you are subscribed to apps. As I said we love this condo and if these suggestions are implemented I would rate it 5 stars❣️❣️

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was beautiful and in a great location. Loved the view from the balcony! The furnishings could use some updating as they were looking very wornout. Most of the kitchen chairs and barstools were missing pieces from the feet and were wobbly. The kitchen supplies were also hit and miss and we ended up not cooking as much as planned since we would have needed to purchase additional supplies to cook and prep meals with. Their was a lot of tupperware! The dishwasher wasn't working properly and the washing machine wasn't very efficient. Plus, the dryer took several hours to dry clothes. They're was a note by the dryer that it'd take about 90 minutes for clothes to dry due to the length of the dryer vent but it seemed like it took at least double that amount of time. We contacted the rental agency about the dishwasher and was told they've been having issues with it and had someone come and fix it prior to us arriving and was told it was working properly... they obviously didn't run a full cycle prior to deeming it to be working. It ran through the cycle as if cleaning but the dishes weren't cleaned. The dishwasher tab was still fully intact at the bottom and the dishes were all wet despite choosing the heated dry option. The rental agency the owners used, Florida Lifestyle Vacation Rentals, was very friendly and helpful. Overall, not sure if I'd stay again.

Rating Details: The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The linens for the beds need to be upgraded some have burn marks on them, the bedspreads look like they have never been washed.i know for a fact that one of the twin bedspreads still has dirt on it that was on it last year when we came in. The pillow on the twin bed is ripping apart. The towels are old and scratchy. I found dust bunnies under all of the beds. Housekeeping is not the greatest here. I come in and clean and usually leave it cleaner then when we came in. The place needs alot of updating for what the price is going to be for next year. We have been staying here for 5 years but this is our last year we are moving on.

Stingy and lack of pride in vacation home rental!!

We were actually caught off guard by the stinginess of basic needs in the condo. 6 adults , 3 bedrooms, one 1/4 roll of extra toilet paper and paper towels, we bought tissues for each room. We were limited to 2 garbage bags for the weeks trash ( really unacceptable) why so stingy?? We had to put trash in small bag we got from the grocery store! Limited beach towels for a beach condo with a pool, dirty doors and walls. Master had French door leading into living area that did not stay securely closed we had to come up with a way to keep it closed while we were dressing!! Linens and bedding tired and uncomfortable, stained accent pillows in the master! Simple things like a pen and paper not available. 4 people sharing a bathroom sink with a slow drain… yuck! Hole in bedroom wall behind twin beds. Not returning to this property unfortunately

Here are a few additional things you should know about this location. This condo is right next to the public beach access so there are more people on the beach area directly in front. You must have a physical key to get to the condo’s beach access because you have to go through the pool area. This can pose a problem when you have more then two people needing a key. ’s next to public beach access so our adult children could go around when a key was not available. There’s a pro and con for the public beach access. There is only one roll of cheap toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, no dish soap, and one extra trash bag so be prepared to go shopping if you’re staying more than a few days. Congratulations to the renters after us for getting these additional items for free since we couldn’t take these things back on the plane with us. If you’re able, bring your own pillows. There were not many and the ones available where not good quality. We flew so no luck for us with bringing pillows. Beach chairs and umbrellas.... There were two pretty good beach chairs in the condo but if you need more, or an umbrella, you have to travel down the beach to the next public access point to rent them and you have to stay in that location. There are stores that rent these but you have to be able to drive and pick them up. Sleeping ’s advertised as sleeping 6 but one bed is a full size and two people in it bigger than adolescents are cramped. Our adult child ended up sleeping on the couch to be more comfortable (and it wasn’t a sofa sleeper). I recommend sleeping 5 people in this condo for comfort. The condo has had a little facelift so it’s cute but you can still tell it’s older. It was clean and we didn’t have to call the rental company about anything. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Have been renting beach condos on IRB 1-2xs a year for 15 yrs. We just love this area. I was very excited to find this unit on the beach w/pool in such a great location. Our stay was Sat-Sat. Check-in was after 4 pm but unlike most other rentals we had to go to a rental office to check-in. The office closed shortly after check-in time so I called to see how we would get the keys if we could not get there before they left. Apparently, they just throw the keys in an envelope outside in a plastic mailbox. After picking up our 1970-style hotel keys we drove to the unit. It stunk! Mildewy-musty-sour stink. I know that rental properties in humid FL can get a little musty but this was gross. On top of that the unit was filthy it was a very disappointing start to our vacation. I called the office and left a mssg, knowing they would be MIA until Mon we headed out to get groceries and cleaning supplies. It's one thing if it were just crumbs, hairs & greasy fingerprints left from the previous guests but this unit was DIRTY, there was a heavy layer of dust on everything, wall art, furniture, baseboards, stains on walls & there was mildew & rust rampant in the bathrooms. I went to lower the temp and saw a sign taped to the wall telling me that I could not lower the AC below 76! Were they expecting their guests to be lizards? I did speak to management on Tues, they apologized- said that they would look into it and get back to me but I never heard from her again. On Wed morning while I was out on the beach someone entered our unit unannounced and freaked my kids out. I called the office they were clueless of course apologized &said that they would look into it and get back to me but I never heard from her again either. Lucky, the weather was perfect, we were outside most of the time but if we had a rainy week I would have just driven home rather than hang in that place. Great location, nice & roomy, it's a shame that the management let it get so nasty.
