About this property

Large/Cozy 4 BR, close to Airport

This large and cozy home with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and tons of space is only a 10 minute drive from the airport, and conveniently located on the way to Denali National Park!
The space
This 1,700 square foot home has plenty of room for the whole group! It has a fully stocked kitchen, so you will have no problems cooking your favorite meals! High speed internet is available, and guests have free access to Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+. There is also board games, a large backyard, and a patio for you to enjoy.
The master bedroom is located downstairs with a private workspace and a comfortable king bed. The other 3 rooms are upstairs. 2 have queen beds, and the other has a bunk bed with 2 full beds, and a separate twin bed. Our 2 full bathrooms have double sinks, and are on both floors. If you are traveling with young children, we can provide a pack n play. The laundry room is upstairs, with a washer and dryer that guests can use. A stocked coffee cabinet is provided, along with small breakfast items such as oatmeal, cereal, eggs, and milk. We want your stay to be as comfortable as possible. If there is anything you may need please reach out, and I’ll try my best to accommodate your need.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire B side unit, backyard, and patio. Guests do not have access to the crawlspace, and attic.
Other things to note
This home is a side by side duplex. Both units are currently Airbnbs, so you may have a neighbor next door at some point during your stay.

Good stay.

House was clean and worked for us. The stairs were very steep and had high risers. The dining table didn't have enough chairs for 8 of us. We made it work and enjoyed our stay.

Nice Alaska get away!

House was in a small neighborhood but neighbors were not a problem. House had lots of trees and that wooded Alaska feeling. Only downside was: one burner on stove didn’t work and one handle on upstairs bathroom was loose. (Kept coming off). I would definitely stay there again!

The owners were very informative. We traveled in from the lower 48 and have never been to Alaska. Driving into the location was a bit odd with the surrounding houses. Having spent the week in Alaska though this wasn’t out of the norm… just different if your new to the area. House could use a really good dusting and cleaning. It was a clean house but if you have allergies like I do- you will notice and need lot of medication. We appreciate the stay.

Thanks Nicole! It is located in a neighborhood, with houses near by but still not too close to neighbors. The houses are more so Alaskan style in the area, but not sure if that makes it odd. Since the house was cleaned by the cleaners, I think your allergies were affected by the pollen. In the spring here we have a really high pollen count from the birch trees. Which leaves pollen dust on everything, and naturally gets inside when coming and going from the house. Many locals, myself included, struggle with allergies during this time and rely on medication until it passes. Sorry about that you weren’t aware of that, but I’m pretty certain it was the pollen and not the house since it’s dusted every time it’s cleaned. Take care, and I hope we can host you again in the future!

There was minimal cleaning all window ledges were dirty every piece of trim in the house with dirt kitchen counter and drawers dirty The handle on the back screen door was missing The stairway going upstairs was not too code it felt very unsafe bathroom ceiling fans did not exhaust. They were very dirty. there’s more I could say, but I would not recommend this place
