What a cozy, welcoming cabin! We loved it. The porches were great for morning coffee. This is a quiet and beautiful location. Cabin was very clean, beds comfy, good coffee maker and 2 bathrooms made getting ready to go out much easier. We will be back. Thank you!
Cabin was nice, location was convenient and wife was happy when 3 bears showed up in driveway one evening and she was wanting to see a bear and her wishes were granted and also got to see a deer by golf course on way to town and want to thank Elena our host for the use of their cabin and thanks for everything
The Blue Door cabin was an incredibly comfortable and quiet home away from home for our visit to Townsend and surrounding areas. Super clean, with everything you need, including washer/dryer. Jacuzzi tub for relief after long days hiking. Upstairs loft a sweet cocoon and porches where you can sit and listen to the birds in the trees and enjoy your morning coffee or evening adult beverage. Thank you so much to the hosts!! We would totally stay here again and will recommend to friends.
My family and I truly enjoyed the space, location, and overall vibe of the Blue Door Cabin! It was peaceful, packed with wildlife, surrounded by fireflies at night, and perfect for a family! The hosts were responsive and ready to accommodate a larger group of 5! Definitely would return next Summer!

We're so glad you enjoyed The Blue Door Cabin! Come back soon - we'd love to host you again!
We enjoyed a girls weekend to partake in the Great Smokey Mountains half marathon, hosted in Townsend by Vacation Races. The cabin is very comfortable and wonderfully situated to navigate all the location has to offer. It was peaceful, relaxing and we even saw our first bear out the back window! Our hosts were very thoughtful and quick to respond to any messages. We would recommend this stay to anyone. We would like to caution the driveway is fairly steep and there are stairs to enter so that may be an issue for anyone with mobility issues.
We absolutely loved the privacy this cabin offered, and everything was so well appointed! The close proximity to the National Park and Townsend as well as a short drive to Maryville allowed us to truly enjoy our time.
My daughter and I had a great week exploring the area. She told me that we have to have a cabin here...she loved the cabin.
