Modern and Relaxing

Overall a great stay. Location, ease of check in, comfy beds, and decor. Just needed face towels and door locking and shower instructions. Listing matched reality. And not far from Galveston city center.

Anniversary Getaway

I decided to book the BlueMar for my 20th wedding anniversary and it was a wonderful time. The home is extremely clean and very spacious. Way more room than I needed for just the two of us, but I wanted it to be special for my wife. She had a great time, and we are looking to book it again for my entire family next summer.

When we first set foot in the Pirates Beach West neighborhood, it felt like Galveston's best-kept secret. Tucked away on the quiet west end of the island, this community offered everything we dreamed of in a beach home, peaceful surroundings, private beach access, and those incredible Gulf views that just stop you in your tracks.

We loved that the beach here isn’t crowded or commercial, it’s a clean, quiet stretch of sand where families can relax, kids can play safely, and couples can enjoy long morning walks. No cars on the beach. No loud party scenes. Just the sound of the waves and the breeze off the water.

But what really sold us was the sense of calm and connection. Whether you're sitting out on the deck watching the sun rise or sipping something cold after a beach day, there’s something grounding about this place.
