About this property

Just past the entrance to the historic village of Grand Lake you’ll find a small private set of cabin style condos where our cozy Rocky Mountain Retreat sits. Our top floor property offers striking sunrise & sunset views of Mount Craig, seasonal fireworks, and the Rockies. This welcoming and wildlife themed space comes with the comfort of every amenity needed for relaxing after a busy summer day. Explore downtown Grand Lake just a short 10 minute walk from the property. Rent a boat, grab lunch, hike Adams Falls, visit local shops, and view wildlife like moose and bears in Rocky Mountain National park. All of these experiences are within a mile of our home. Our recommendation for guests is to rent a kayak and experience Grand and Shadow Mountain Lake, or take the highest paved road in America to the Bear Lake Corridor in Estes for its stunning views of natural peaks. The park does charge an entrance fee for hikers and motorists and require advance reservations. Please visit the Rocky Mountain National Park website for details. Our home is one of a kind and central to winter fun and nightlife in Grand Lake.

We are local to Colorado and are nature enthusiasts. Naturally Grand Lake was the place we chose to relax, unwind while seeking breath taking views and trails. We fell in love with Grand Lake, its mountain views and many activities and also love that we are able to share that excitement with many travelers.

Our property is one of a kind in that it is filled with every amenity our guests could ask for, plenty of space, offers views from our balcony and a cozy fireplace to relax in front of at the end of the evening. Our home is also less than a mile from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park.
