Comfortable and Lovely!

The beds were so comfortable that we did not want to get out of them in the morning. The cabin has everything you could possibly need: washer and dryer, kitchen has all appliances, large refrigerator, pans, beautiful dishes. Everything is new and clean and visually appealing. Kudos to the person who decorated the place! We love the rooster theme. The only concern we had is the steepness of the road to get down to the cabin. Our mini-van did ok, but it would be best to warn people of the steep grade before they rent.

Cute cabin in the woods!

We enjoyed our 3 day stay at Roosters Den. Beautiful pine paneled interior, well appointed kitchen, and 2 nice decks, highlighted our stay on the wooded property. When we are in the Asheville, NC area again, we would love to stay at this location once again.

Very disappointed with the broken love seat which left us with only two small chairs to sit in. Not the best arrangement for movie watching or book reading, two things we planned to do during our stay. Four people don’t fit well in two chairs. Otherwise the house was nice, comfortable, well outfitted, and beautiful views.

Beautiful Cabin!

Truly enjoyed staying in this lovely, well furnished cabin! So very clean and smells wonderful with all of the wood walls and ceilings. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware, and spices. It was the perfect space for our group of three.

The cabin was adorable and had all the amenities we needed. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because we had a couple 'surprises'... But let me preface my comments with this context - we are from Chicago area so these surprises may not be relevant to someone who is used to the North Carolina / mountain geography. BUT.. this information would be helpful for people from the Midwest. ;)Surprise #1) The driveway was very steep and was scary to drive down when we arrived. (note: we arrived at night when it was very dark outside which made the drive up the steep roads and down the steep driveway a bit stressful. Tip: Take a really strong flashlight with you!Surprise #2) the people staying in the other cabin caught a video of a mama bear and her 2 cubs under our deck a couple hours before we arrived! We were nervous to go outside after that.Again- these factors may not be applicable to someone who is used to this geography. But for Midwest flatlanders, it will probably be helpful information. But the cabin itself was pristine and was very comfortable.

We had some difficulty finding the property as the 6ft rooster landmark noted in the directions was no longer there and there is no road sign where you have to turn to get to the cabin. The cabin was not as clean as we would've liked but it was comfortable and very nicely decorated. The host was responsive via phone. Overall, it is a very nice cabin and we enjoyed our stay.

Everything was as advertised. We even had a family of bears come hang out. Very clean and easy to function. Only thing was I left messages on the app a few days prior and never received a reply about if the property certain items as we were trying to figure out what to pack but never heard back. We were messaged later with what seemed like premade copy/pasted messages that were informative but not helpful for things we needed answers for (kitchen supplies/internet issues). I’m sure it’s a management company handling this property but to not even respond to our messages was weird.
