This peaceful, luxurious and serene home lies in the artists' community of Springs in East Hampton, NY. A four bedroom, two and a half bath saltbox, the house sits on 1.4 acres, situated on a private road. A white washed brick fireplace is at the heart of the high-vaulted communal living, kitchen, and dining areas. Large southern-exposed windows and sliding doors are ideal for cool breezes and natural sunlight to flood the house. The expansive backyard and deck affords privacy for sunbathing, and an ideal outdoor grilling and picnic area.

The master and second bedrooms each have a queen-size bed, with two full-size beds in the third bedroom, and additional sleeping area in LR, and one more bedroom in newly renovated basement. Central A/C and high-speed wireless internet are available throughout the house.

Fully stocked with standard appliances – plus a hooded Wolf oven/range-top, Miele dishwasher, Liebherr Fridge, and outdoor Weber grilling equipment – the house is a chef's dream. For musical guests, a gorgeous upright piano resounds through the spacious home, and integrated house speakers connect easily to iPods, laptops, CDs, AM/FM, and internet radio. Flat screen TV in the master bedroom is hooked up to Apple TV (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc.) and DVD player.

Amazing outdoor space

Heaven in the woods

The house is incredibly well appointed - not just with every imaginable kitchen gadget but also with quality items throughout. The shed is filled with flats, beach chairs and umbrellas. We really could have shown up with just our clothes and done well.The owner is very reachable and very friendly. We loved our stay!

Wonderful week in the Hamptons

Our multi-generational family had a wonderful week at this gorgeous property! The photos don't do the it justice -- the interior is beautifully done and the backyard and pool were spectacular. And there was everything you could want and need -- all of the kitchen supplies you could need; lots of games and toys; etc. Would highly recommend!

Our second summer!

Joan’s house is magical!! First of all, Joan is the best hostess - she is just a wonderful person and she is so kind and responsive. She truly cares and makes sure her guests have a fun and relaxing stay. Her home is absolutely beautiful, exceptionally clean and is so well stocked with anything you need to make your visit perfect. The pool is heaven after a hot beach day! And you can’t beat the location for whatever you want - beaches, shopping or restaurants are all close by. This was our second stay at Joan’s and we’re already looking forward to next year’s vacation in Springs! Thank you Joan!!!

Serene Perfection

Our family of four consider ourselves fortunate to have been able to spend time at this sunny, serene and effortlessly chic home. Fantastic location with both East Hampton and Amagansett villages close by. Lush, private backyard with enormous pool and awesome outdoor shower. Well equipped kitchen with high end appliances and gorgeous dishware. Very comfortable beds and linens. Good wi-fi and plenty of space for those who need to work (we had two adults on laptops and taking calls and the house layout functioned well). This house is a gem, as is its owner, Joan, who is warm, kind, and always available to answer any questions. Perfect stay!

Beautiful house, amazing pool/garden, perfect location

We had the best time here. The house is gorgeous. It has a huge, modern and airy kitchen with windows everywhere. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with high end appliances and cookware. The living room is also spacious with great light. The bedrooms are big and comfortable, the bathrooms are modern. There are blinds everywhere, and the beds/bedding are great. The pool and garden area are a dream - large, super well maintained and modern. Location is perfect: quiet, yet minutes from East Hampton, Amagansett, the beach, the bay… We had so much fun! Thanks so much Joan for having us and being so friendly and responsive!

Can’t wait to come back

I recently spent a week at Joan’s house with family and it was the perfect getaway for everyone. The house was exactly as described and is a beautiful home. Extremely clean, comfortable, tastefully and thoughtfully decorated and well maintained. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The backyard setting and pool were perfect. Very private, large backyard with a great pool. The kids in particular loved the pool and just running around in the yard. Great location. The house is set back quite a bit from the main road, down a long driveway. Felt removed from the hustle and bustle, but close to everything - beaches, markets, restaurants and shops. Joan was lovely to deal with and very responsive. We will be back for sure!

Beautiful home in East Hampton

This home is amazing. It is immaculate, organized, comfortable and beautifully designed. It has updated bathrooms and an impressive open floor plan which boasts a chef’s kitchen that flows into an outstanding and relaxing living room with tons of light. Sliding doors off the kitchen and living room provide access to the backyard with impeccably designed and manicured landscaping and a luxurious swimming pool that’s right out of a magazine! There’s a completely finished basement with a media room, office area and an extra bedroom and bathroom. The home’s location is private, quiet and ideal - just a few miles from downtown East Hampton and a quick drive to day trips in Sag Harbor and Montauk. Owner was incredibly responsive before and throughout our stay - and provides all of the amenities needed for a short or long stay. Would definitely book again.

Spectacular East Hampton Home and Experience

We just finished our annual stay with this truly wonderful home and property and once again, it was a spectacular experience for our family. The owner is the ultimate host, always available...and everything about our stay was best in class. The new touches this year to the patio and pool area only made it even more enjoyable. I could not recommend this property with more enthusiasm!

Great family vacation!

We greatly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend. The house is lovely, well outfitted and very comfortable for both adults and kids. The backyard and pool are fantastic; we spent a lot of our time just enjoying that area. The house is well located - in a quiet spot in the woods, but a quick drive to anything you need. Joan was a great host - helpful and responsive. Overall a fantastic experience!

A perfect home

Excellent Vacation

Thanks to Joan and her beautiful home, we had a wonderful week in the Hamptons. The highlights of the property are the salt water gunite pool and the well-appointed, modern kitchen. Joan was extremely responsive and caring. The house is nestled in the back off the main road. Very quiet and private. Perfect place to unwind, disconnect and recharge.

Three Mile Hog Creek Home

This home is perfect. The furnishings are beautiful and extremely comfortable. The kitchen is equipped will any tool a home chef would need to complete a delicious dinner for their family. Why they chose this property

Our home is a true labor of love.. Our multi-talented family is composed of a master carpenter, a construction manager, and an interior decorator. We are always planning for, and executing new ways to beautify, improve and upgrade our stunning home. The photos do not compare with the overwhelming sensation you'll get when entering the front door and opening the backyard gates.

What makes this property unique

The house is located at the end of a very private road, totally isolated from street traffic so you can enjoy peaceful days lounging by the pool on comfy Restoration Hardware chaise chairs. The bay is located directly across the road where we often go to view the breathtaking sunset. Beaches are a 7 minute drive, and the towns of East Hampton, Amagansett, and Sag Harbor are within a 10-20 minute drive.
