Three connected homes on one Canyon, TX property near Palo Duro Canyon State Park. Sleeps 16 across seven bedrooms and ten beds: a main home, a bunker house, and a separate tiny home, all on the same compound. Built for extended families, friend groups, and retreat teams who want their own spaces but still want everyone close for breakfast, the BBQ grill, and that long canyon-trip debrief by the indoor fireplace. Golf views and complimentary golf access round out the stay.
The Space:
TRIO is three of our buildings booked together on one compound: a main home, a bunker-style cabin, and a stand-alone tiny home. Seven bedrooms, five bathrooms, ten beds, comfortable for 16 guests. Each building has its own kitchen, bathroom, and entry, so a multi-generational group can split off into smaller pods and still meet in the middle when it counts.
The main home centers the stay with a full kitchen, dining table, indoor fireplace, and the largest living area on the property. The bunker has bunk-style sleeping that families with kids and youth-group leaders tend to gravitate toward. The tiny home gives the quietest sleeper or the couple in the group their own slower morning.
Across the three buildings you will find a fully stocked kitchen setup: stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, toaster, blender, ice maker, cookware, dishes and silverware, wine glasses, baking sheet, and barbeque utensils. Washer and dryer on the property. Wireless internet throughout. A laptop-friendly workspace is set up for anyone who needs to log in for a call. Body soap, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hair dryer, hangers, iron, and bed linens are stocked.
Outside, a BBQ grill anchors the shared cookouts, with free parking on the premises for the whole group. The compound is set on acreage at the edge of Palo Duro Canyon, so the views and quiet are the point. Mornings here tend to start slow. Evenings end around the fireplace or under the Panhandle stars.
The TRIO booking is kid-friendly and infant-friendly with smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, a first aid kit, and fire extinguisher. Heating and air conditioning handle the full range of West Texas weather.
If your group is smaller, you can also book just the main home or the bunker as stand-alone stays. If your group is larger than 16, the entire compound is available as one booking.
Guest Access:
You will have private access to the three TRIO buildings, the shared outdoor space, BBQ grill, and parking. Self check-in. We send access details, a parking map, and a brief building-by-building orientation a day before arrival, so when the cars roll in the group can settle in fast.
The Neighborhood:
We sit in Canyon, TX, the town built around Palo Duro Canyon. The main park entrance off State Highway 217 is a short drive from our gate, which puts the Lighthouse Trail, the rim road, and Pioneer Amphitheatre easy day-of choices. The TEXAS Outdoor Musical runs Tuesday through Sunday at 8pm from June through August on the amphitheatre stage. Downtown Canyon has the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum, West Texas A&M University, and a handful of family-owned BBQ and Tex-Mex spots. Amarillo is a short drive north on I-27 for the Big Texan Steak Ranch and Cadillac Ranch off I-40. Out here, daytime is canyon country and golf, and nighttime is the kind of star field you can only see this far from a city.
Getting Around:
A rental car is required, and with 16 guests across three buildings plan on at least two vehicles. Rick Husband Amarillo International Airport (AMA) is the closest commercial airport, a straightforward drive south on I-27 to Canyon, then west on Country Club Road. Rideshare in Canyon is limited.
Other Things to Note:
This is a rural compound at the edge of the canyon. Expect real darkness at night, occasional wildlife at dawn, and quiet that city ears take a day to settle into. Cell signal varies by carrier across the acreage, so wifi calling is helpful. Wind can pick up in the afternoons, so secure hats, lids, and outdoor games.
Interaction with Guests:
We respect your privacy. No one is on site full-time. Our team is on call from early morning to late evening Texas time and typically responds within an hour during the day. Message us through the booking platform for anything from a thermostat question to a trail or dinner recommendation.
