Eden House is a cozy, clean house located in a lovely, quiet wooded area. Within minutes you can be at a lake, the park or a beach. Eden House is within walking distance of a playground, bank and upscale restaurant. We are eleven miles from Bar Harbor and 1/2 mile to the Island Bus System stop. Enjoy many outdoor activities or a lovely drive on the Ocean Drive that are so popular on our wonderful island.

The house was clean, comfortable and cozy. It's located far enough off the road to be very quiet and secluded. Check in was super easy, the amenities top notch and the bed was very comfortable. Kathy is very friendly and was easy to contact when I had a question, If I return here, this is where I'll want to stay!

Great place to stay. Very quiet and peaceful. Excellent location to explore the National Park and venture into Bar Harbor. The house is well equiped with everything you need. Great interaction with host. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

We- primarily myself and my two kids 15 & 3 stayed here while my husband hunted about 45 min from us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the house is stocked with all the essentials, clean and even has puzzles/ toys and movies to enjoy. The host Kathy was just as nice leaving us coffee and the supplies for blueberry pancakes. It is about 15 minutes from bar harbor, and such a cute quiet place. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time in Bar Harbor and surrounding area and the location of the VRBO could not have been better! The hosts were wonderful to deal with and even left us the makings for blueberry pancakes and coffee so that we didn't have to shop prior to our first morning.

The location is central, so easy to get to attractions on both sides of the island. Very peaceful settings to relax after a full day out hiking and stocked with everything we needed. The host was responsive and answered all our questions in a timely manner.

My mom and I had a great stay at Kathy's place. It was easy to get to different points in Acadia and we appreciated the quiet location nestled in the woods. Kathy was quick to respond and provided lots of information about nearby restaurants and things to do in the area. Both Kathy and her place were a real gem!

Our host was wonderfully communicative in advance of, and during our stay.The house is centrally located for easy travel around Mt Desert Island while still feeling private and secluded.We saw deer and wild turkeys in the woods around the house, and the home was very well appointed with everything we needed to make it feel like home away from home.

Wonderful stay in a charming home!

We loved our stay! Kathy was so responsive and the house had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, check in was a breeze, and everything was clean. It was also in a great location that made it easy to get to any place we needed, the shuttle stop is close by, and it’s away from the crazy busy Bar Harbor area. We would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay!

Kathy’s house was a gem on Mt Desert Island, tucked away from the crowds, yet close to Bar Harbor and the park. The house was well stocked with amenities, basically everything you need for your stay with a bonus of frozen Maine blueberries, pancake mix, butter and syrup to prepare a delicious pancake breakfast the first morning. Highly recommended for your visit in the area.
