I stayed there with my sister for a five day birthday vacation. If your looking for something laid back, comfortable and on the ocean, this is it. The beach is literally at your feet. I love the way it made me feel at home.If your looking for upscale luxury it's not for you. If you want a homey, relaxing experience this is it. The hosts were right on it when I would text. Very nice and friendly. I would highly recommend this cute little cottage.

UPON ARRIVAL ANGEL GAVE US A NICE WELCOME BACK GREETING. IT WAS NICE TO BE BACK AGAIN CELEBRATING MY BIRTHDAY. THE VIEWS THE SOUNDS OF THE OCEAN WITHIN FEET OF THE UNIT. IT WAS GREAT TO BE ABLE TO WALK TO THE PIER FOR SOME OF OUR MEALS. BUT WITH THAT VIEW IT MADE IT AN ENJOYABLE STAYCATION. THE UNIT WAS CLEAN & COZY, NOT FANCY BUT JUST A COMFORTABLE BEACH GETAWAY.

Place and location was fantastic! The people were friendly. Angel was very attentive. I would book again. The only thing I’d make note of is the pull out couch bed is not comfortable and it may need a new mattress so that you don’t feel the two metal bars. It was not sleep-able.

This has to be the best deck in Malibu! Amazing views of sunrise and sunset. Watch sea lions, pelicans and dolphins by day and watch the waves crash against the rocks in the evening at high tide. I always stay here when in LA.

This property was misleading and now they will not return my messages. We left after the first night. The ocean waves break under and directly in front of the porch all night long. Very thunderous. It shakes and vibrates the house. With the water going under the pilons it feels like you are out to sea and it made me and my granddaughter sick. The floorboards are sloped in several places in the house which further threw off my equilibrium. It felt very unsafe. And there was an ant infestation. They were everywhere so that there was no place that I could place our things and suitcases. They were even crawling up the legs of the kitchen table. The manager came and wiped them up and they returned in about 15 min. This was such a huge disappointment for my first vacation in years. We had to leave and find another place to stay.

This guest is less than truthful and very misleading. She visited during a period of unusually high tides. She did not utilize the help of staff to make her visit as enjoyable as possible, as other guests do. This is very unfortunate!!! Malibu Beach Rental Properties

Relaxing Beach Getaway
