Hmmm. I am not sure why we did not receive a 5 * review. I received and replied to several email exchanges per day and added an extra reservation day when part of the group arrived early. Yes, the internet was down for 24 hrs, a service provider fault, I assisted the family with a texting option and told them how to access a star link connection within walking distance.
The only concerned was, the aluminum foil was empty. There was plastic wrap, baggies and several lidded containers to prepare lunches and store food for the group to substitute use.
I am sorry this group felt shorted. owner
Wonderful place for a family to stay.We had a great time and being in the woods and out in nature is amazing. The house has everything you need for a wonderful vacation and even more than you expect.Wonderful place to stay and we plan on coming back.
Loved the cabin setup. Host was very responsive and prepared us with detailed descriptions and instructions. A very scenic and impressive area for outdoor activities.
We stayed for two nights to attend a wedding nearby. Everything was clean and as described in the listing. This house was a nice place to spend a weekend with friends!
Lovely well equiped facility. Ideal for the 3 couples of our visit. Host was very helpful in answering some questions we had in setting up our stay. Highly recommend.
Loved the house, had all the necessities, and lovely hot tub! Close to Crystal and so many of the parks. The info doc from Tom was so helpful, including where to stop for groceries.
We had a fantastic time and absolutely loved our stay. The hot tub was an amazing addition and the place was so cozy. Only 25 mins from Crystal which was perfect. And we got to see some Elk roaming! 10/10 would stay again
The house was perfect for our ski trip to Crystal. It was very well appointed and stocked with everything we needed. Communication from the owner was excellent and the house was very clean and organized. We will definitely come back.
A lovely home and a welcoming host. Thorough instructions. Nice walking in the neighborhood and reasonably close to the ski resort. The ski resort pass is a gem!
We absolutely loved our stay. The location was perfect, the owner was super nice and helpful and the property was awesome. The best place to say with kids!!!
Beautiful house, well kept, and incredibly gracious hosts. Comfortable beds, sofas, chairs. Hot tub was wonderful after a long day.Relatively few "To Do's", the most difficult of which was "Be sure to close the driveway gate so the Elk don't get in." :-)Will 100% stay here again in the future.

About the host

My time at the cabin is priceless. It is more than a stopping off spot to sleep and eat. It is an escape into the sights, smells, chill of the nights and outdoor exploration associated with camping in the woods. But, this cammping trip comes with hot/warm water, central heating, soft beds and warm blankets.
Why they chose this property
The ranch has a caretaker providing a secure environment and the home is close to our home in Seattle, Crystal saki area and Mt Rainier. We now snow ski several days in a row and cross country ski from our back door. When we aren't skiing we road and mountain bike, hike in the Nation forest and explore the forest service roads. On occasion we take a morning trip across Chinook pass for breakfast at Gold Creek or Whisky Jacks. Within 30 miles we can bike across three mountain passes or up to Sunrise on wide shoulders in slower car traffic than the other Cascade passes.
What makes this property unique
At 2300' elevation CRR receives snow when snow is falling in the NW foothills. Summers are warmer than Seattle and it rains less frequent. There are walking trails running throughout the CRR community, one along the White river. Within walking distance forest service road 74 is gated and good for longer walks, very safe bike riding and cross country skiing. A Crystal Mountain parking lot A reserved parking pass is provided during the ski season.
