We spent a great weekend in the mountains of North Carolina near Hot Springs. The cabin is even nicer than the pictures indicate there’s plenty of room to roam around both inside and outside playing down around the creek was a lot of fun.
Well maintained and furnished spacious cabin on a creek with a large adjoining property with hiking paths. Everything you want or need for a relaxing stay with comfortable beds, chairs for stargazing, and a long porch (no bugs!) for watching the fireflies while listening to the creek. Mary was a great host and we'll be back!
The house was clean and very spacious. The owner was very pleasant and responded to any question we had. The creek and the deck was so enjoyed by our family. I would love to return for future visits.
Great location if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Beautiful drive down into either Asheville or Hot Springs. Hiked the trail on the property and utilized the fire pit by the stream. A peaceful getaway. Property is well maintained. Cool evenings with the stream heard in the background! Loved it!

Very nice and relaxing!
We enjoyed our stay at Apple Cabin. It was very nice and clean. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to the creek in the evenings. There were 5 of us staying in the cabin, and we had plenty of room. Mary is one of the sweetest people you will meet, and it was very nice to meet her in person. We are looking forward to our next vacation at Apple Cabin.

Nice cabin with a great location
The cabin was very clean. Had a great location and was really secluded. Had problems with the electricity downstairs so half the downstairs did not have power. The laundry area was in that half. Had a small problem with and but it is that time of the year. Worth the money.
the place is located in an excellent space, the host is a very good person very attentive, the house is very clean and very cozy. I highly recommend it and would go back.
Everybody, from kids to adults, enjoyed the cabin. Comfortable three bedrooms, cozy game room with the firewood hearth, nicely supplied kitchen, plenty of games. The cabin is welcoming, conveniently located, organized and cozy.
Communication with Mary is easy . She responds quickly and ready to help with all your needs.
Thank you, Mary.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Apple Creek cabin. It is very peaceful and we had a nice time by the firepit down at the creek. It is so quiet with the creek providing just the right amount of background white noise to make sleeping in the cabin very peaceful. I slept better here than I do at home. Would highly recommend for a small family. We didn't even use the downstairs. Had all accessories needed, including wine opener thank goodness as it is about a 25 minute drive over 15 miles of mountainous roads to downtown Hot Springs and about a 30 minute drive, maybe 20 miles long but not as curvy to Waynesville, NC, from the house, so stock up on what you will need before coming. There is a well stocked small store a couple of miles away from the property for any last minute essentials.
The pictures don’t do it justice, great new property with a lot of space. Stream is close enough to hear from anywhere in the house, it is very private, surrounded by trees, there are some great hiking trails accessible from the house. The drive is a bit daunting as it is at the top of the mountain, but worth it! Mary was very communicative and helpful.
Our family had a perfectly quite family vacation away from it all. We were very happy with our cozy cabin surounded by the tranquil sound of a mountain Creek and beautiful mountain views. 30 minutes from Asheville gave us access to great outings to Biltmore, charming Asheville and minutes away from great hikiing venues. Thank you Mary for a great holiday.
We dearly enjoyed our rather short but sweet stay!
The location was private and beautiful , the cabin was very cozy and welcoming for family with children. We were very pleased and will be back! Thanks Mary:)
We had a wonderful time at the Apple Cabin. The cabin is very clean and tidy, like new. Perfect spot next to a mountain stream. You can hear it flowing from the cabin. Soothing. There is seating next to the stream with a camp fire. We spent a lot of the day and night next to the camp fire and stream. My grandson loved it!
Plenty of room in the cabin. Comfortable bedrooms, each with own full bath. Nicely appointed and decorated. Great kitchen with everything you need. And the downstairs has a spacious den and laundry room. Patio with grill down. and we enjoyed the deck upstairs with comfortable rocking chairs. It was the perfect, relaxing weekend.

The rental was a great experience. We enjoyed our stay and loved the creek. We will recommend to others we know. Thank you for a great relaxing experience
This was the perfect location for our group to unplug from everyday life and recharge ourselves. The cabin and property are gorgeous, with a beauty that has to be seen in person to fully appreciate. My words would not do it justice. A relaxing drive down a scenic NC byway is all that is between your stay and some amazing dining and breweries in Asheville. We spent each night by the fire pit beside the creek and took a morning to hike and explore the trails on the property. Mary was great at communicating with me as we made our plans and was a most gracious and accommodating hostess. If you’re looking to get away to the beautiful mountains of Appalachia and the scenic vistas of Pisgah National Forest, be sure to plan your stay at Apple Cabin on the Creek. We will definitely be back!

Apple cabin was delicious
The apple cabin was a meeting place for our kids from Texas and our granddaughter to meet in the mountains for a little weekend before heading home to Charlotte for a nice long visit. We really enjoyed our time at the cabin, the beds were so comfy, the cooking was a breeze and the coffee pot makes some good coffee. Our littlest enjoyed looking for all the apples in the cabin. We had a rain soaked Saturday but Sunday morning was beautiful. We loved apple cabin and you will too !!!
