Why they chose this property
The Barn is perfect for a family or two couples who like hiking, biking and water sports. Its peaceful with great water views.
What makes this property unique
This side of Mount Desert is often sunny when other parts are fog bound. The water is calmer and warmer. Wildlife abounds with eagles, osprey, terns, loons, cormorants and the occasional porpoise over the water and rabbits, deer and once in awhile porcupine or fox visit the property. The Barn apartment is quiet and peaceful and offers a respite from hiking and touring Acadia and Bar Harbor (15-20 minutes away)
