We had a great time in a wonderful house. Communication was awesome and the home was really well stocked. Perfect for our son, daughter in law and new baby. Would love to stay again next time we’re in Interlochen.

Great location & property

We came in for parents weekend in the Fall and this quiet neighborhood was convenient, well equipped, spacious and lovely!

This place was in the perfect location for getting to Interlochen Center for the Arts and Interlochen state park. The park has kayaks and paddle boards for rent which we took advantage of. It is only a short 20 at minute drive to Traverse City. Although it doesn’t have air conditioning they have ceiling fans in two of the bedrooms and a couple of extra box fans. Temps cooled down at night so it was comfortable to sleep. Check-in and check-out was very easy.

The property worked well for a small family gathering. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor table for meals and having laundry access. The house isn’t perfectly polished (some stained cushions on seating benches for example) but its location was great for exploring northern Michigan and getting to both Traverse City and sleeping bear dunes within 30 minutes. We also enjoyed the lake down the road and walking out on the dock. The neighborhood was quiet during our visit. AC couldn’t quite keep up with the heat and wasn’t an issue for our group but maybe be aware if you’re sensitive to this.

Fun reunion

We had a wonderful weekend reunion of Interlochen alumni in this perfect cottage. It has great outdoor space and a charming location. Owners are very accommodating and easy to communicate with. 10 out of 10 times would stay here again

Beautiful place to reconnect with friends

Had a wonderful stay at this picturesque cabin, steps from Green Lake. Enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen and grill. I was able to entertain old Interlochen alums, reconnecting. Having the outdoor space was really lovely.

Green Lake Central Interlochen

We booked the house for a wedding in Honor. The house was very close to store for basic needs and only 20 minutes from TC. The house was very clean and super comfortable. We will definitely use this venue again in the future.

Very cute house near Interlochen

So many nice things about this comfortable little house near Green Lake. Very cute eclectic neighborhood of little houses with character. A sweet little cat greeted us on the deck. We had a few minor inconveniences that could be remedied by a simple guidebook. The tap water seemed to be well water - we would have brought bottled water. We struggled to lock the front door (it needed to code entered to lock). It was not obvious where we could have rented kayaks so we swam instead. Otherwise lovely.
