This home was very secluded and had beautiful views. The interior was a perfect mix of historic and modern touches. Hosts were very responsive and we would stay here again!

Thank you, Cyndi. We’re so glad you all liked the space and enjoyed your stay. Come back again :)
This cabin was so cute and clean! The updates throughout the home while still maintaining the natural rustic cabin vibe was absolutely perfect. The kitchen was well stocked, which made prepping meals a breeze. The beds were so comfortable - my husband and I both commented that neither of us felt "achy" after waking up - two thumbs up on the mattress! Because the cabin is in the mountains, expect a higher mineral presence in the water. We brought bottled/gallon water for drinking & coffee and that worked great. Allison was super quick in all of her responses to my questions, which was much appreciated. Would definitely stay with this host again!

Thank you for your kind feedback, Danielle. I'm so glad you and your family had a nice time!
What an incredible find! This home is close to so many gorgeous spaces, including the Shenandoah and Buzzard Rocks hikes right on the way from DC. But it’s also this stunning retreat surrounded by nature, where you feel away from it all. Plus the house is so cozy - we loved the fire pit, the bath tub looking out over the woods, and the cozy living room and kitchen set up. All in all a perfect place to get away without going too far!

Emily, we're so glad you guys enjoyed your stay and appreciated the home and surrounding nature :) Come back anytime!
Lovely property out in the middle of nowhere and we didn’t see a single person during our stay! (We did, however, meet a very friendly dog during an evening stroll!) The property was very clean and well stocked. Looks just as nice as the pictures! I would advise bringing bottled water as what comes out of the tap is not easily drinkable. We had a fabulous time!
