This place and this host are both awesome. Everything is clearly labeled. There were hooks in logical places. Check in was a breeze. I would 100% recommend this host and his house
Had a great stay , clean , quiet and very safe area. Minutes to food and stores a great location . We had everything we needed. Reserve without worry , this is a great place.
This was a perfect location for a small family get together. It was close to beautiful Hudson Valley sites, grocery stores, restaurants, and anything else you might need. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and spacious. We especially liked being able to have a BBQ.
The house is spacious and well accomodated. There's an enormous television in the living room with two leather sofas. There is also a large enclosed porch which is a nice place to just sit and relax. Also, there are three bedrooms, air conditioning, heat, large refrigerator, washer/dryer ... everything you need. The place was Immaculate when we got there, and our wonderful hostess Teri was always easy to communicate with during our stay.
My wife, I, and a family friend stayed here while attending the Rhinebeck sheep and wool festival. The place was clean and spacious, and the host Terri wonderfully responsive. I’d recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.
My family stayed here while visiting our daughter for parents weekend at Bard College. We have stayed in a number of rentals in the area over the past few years, and this is by far the best! It was perfect in every way: spacious, very clean and comfortable, everything worked well and the hosts were super responsive and kind. We will absolutely want to stay here again!
The place was clean and well equipped. The stay was very comfortable. We were in town for our son to audition at Bard. The location was convenient for that, but there was little else around. The Saugerties village center has nice dining and some interesting antique shops.Heavy snowfall prevented us from exploring further.
We stayed with 2 couples and had a wonderful time. The house was very clean and organized, and was the perfect size for our group. Having some food staples (coffee, butter, popcorn) already available in the house was super convenient and welcoming while traveling. Teri was very responsive to any and all questions. We would definitely stay here again!
This property is perfectly located between Saugerties and Kingston with easy access to both. We wanted a place that was easy to explore the area from and we scored with this house. Everything was clean and we were provided with everything we could need, pots & pans, soap & shampoo, washer & dryer--all of it. We also had plenty of room to do the work we brought with us. The house stayed cool the whole time (day & night) and we really enjoyed it.
Teri's place is wonderful. Everything is very clean and brand new, and the house itself feels recently renovated. It has been prepared incredibly thoughtfully, including supplies you may have forgotten to save a trip to a store, and clear labels to help you find everything. There are nice outdoor spaces, including a balcony on the upstairs bedroom and a high quality gas grill. Location is in a quiet neighborhood but still close to town. The sunroom is a nice bonus space to have.
We rent out a property that we own. I can tell anyone considering this property that there is no detail left unmet. I could go on and on about everything that is great about this rental. Just trust me, you will love it. If you can find something wrong (good luck!), contact Teri and it will be fixed immediately and for good.
I drove from Georgia to visit my daughter at Bard College for her birthday. The place was perfect. The pictures don't really do the property justice. The place is larger and roomier than the description. The area is really quiet except for the occasional hawk. The location was close to hiking trails, Woodstock, and Kingston. I will definitely be staying there again. There was coffee and tea available. All the spices and pots and pans were there. I really only had to buy the food to make meals.
Convenient location (10 minutes to Saugerties shops and even closer to gas stations). The house was kept at a comfortable temperature, was clean, and prepared well for our stay. The house had a layout easy to manage with a toddler and even had good toys and books available to use. We loved the sunroom and spent most of our free time at the house there.

About the host
Hosted by Teri Tompkins

Why they chose this property
The neighborhood chose me. It is a quiet community and offers plenty of dead end roads for walking or biking.
What makes this property unique
The neighbors are friendly. The house has a unique floor plan and the unheated sunroom is beautiful for morning coffee, watching the snow or just snuggling on the futon and surfing the web. The decks offer a night time song of katydid, crickets, frogs and the occasional owl throughout the summer and fall months.
