I had a very good experience at this cabin. It is a great place to stay and very chill. The check-in was really easy and I loved it. The only thing I want to mention is that when we cooked, there was no exhaust fan to suck out the smoke. Aside from that, it was a wonderful stay.
Very cute cabin, split into 2 units. The main unit has such nice high ceilings and cozy feel, while the lower unit is smaller but nice. The kitchen is sufficiently appointed, but there is only 1 microwave and it's in the smaller downstairs unit. It takes awhile for the unit to warm up with the heater on, but there are a few space heaters to help. We cooked all our meals and there were enough pots and pans and utensils for the 2 families that stayed there. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the short ride to Stagecoach parking lot.Plenty of parking and a very nice deck to enjoy.
We stayed here over the holidays and had a great experience overall. The house was very accommodating, comfortable, and well set up for a relaxing stay. The host was responsive and quick to get back to us whenever we had questions, which we really appreciated. We did experience a power outage during our stay due to a storm, but the host communicated promptly and did their best to support us. Overall, it was still a positive experience, just something to keep in mind if there’s a storm to plan ahead for potential power outages.
Rarely is a vrbo property better than expected. And never has it been substantially better but it was here. It's in a beautiful location, it was spotless, really well-appointed, exactly as described. Communication w/owner was perfect. Great value and a terrific experience
Very comfortable and felt right at home. Loved the crockpot for cooking. Nice quiet location lots places to walk the dog. Easy parking and short load and unloading. Beautiful sunrises every morning we were here

We miscalculated our itinerary and showed up a day early. The host was amazingly gracious and coordinated quickly to ensure we could stay the additional night. We were very grateful for this. However....the smoke detector is extremely sensitive and after a shower (there is no fan in the bathroom) I opened up the bathroom door and let the steam out and it set off the smoke detector prompting a call from the owner and the fire department. Not much steam, and the fire department indicated they were regularly called to the property. We also rented the property with the understanding there was a hot tub. There was no hot tub.The owner mentioned it was under construction, but clearly there is no evidence of a tub. With 3 long days of skiing planned this was a real disappointment. The upstairs bedroom is very hot and there is no real airflow. As we were leaving I saw there were fans in the far back of the closet. It would have been nice to have them out for optional use. There are no couches, only uncomfortable thin futons and the TV is positioned in the hallway near the kitchen - not exactly a family viewing space. We only received one set of towels and a roll of toilet paper for our stay as well. There is also a fireman's pole in the middle of the living room and oddly near the dining table. For the money we spent this was an awkward unusual residence to stay at.
Lovely, cozy apartment! Beautiful views! If you're visiting in the winter, definitely consider good tires/ 4wheel drive/ chains on wheels to drive up some of the hills though!
The cabin is well located near the nevada side of heavenly with excellent views over the valley. Not really walkable with ski gear, but 3-4 min drive from both the stage coach and boulder areas. The cabin was also very clean. It is separated into two units, which are connnected with an outdoor staircase. When we arrived the heating for both units was turned off and it was VERY cold. It took several hours for the units to warm up, but once they did they temperature held fine. The upstairs unit has a full kitchen that is pretty well stocked. There is a wood burning stove, but it is not available for guest use. The lighting is somewhat confusing and several of the lights and the TV were Jury-rigged with extension chords running all over the place that needed to be plugged in, so be forewarned if you have small children. The downstairs unit was more updated, but has very little cooking capacity. Again several electronics with precarious extension chord situations. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. Of note: this unit only comes with 2 parking spaces so plan accordingly.

We removed all unnecessary extension cords and clamped the existing cords to the wall so they would be out of the reach of small children. We are also painting the upper level and updating the furniture. Parking is limited to two spaces per county regulations. Otherwise, the place looks better and better as we keep updating and adjusting the features to meet our guests’ expectations.
Great stay for a ski trip. The apartment is small but has everything you need. Also dog friendly! Host is very responsive and helpful.Best suited for a couple if you are planning to ski all day (Boulder and Stagecoach lifts are very close by via shuttle) and not planning to make big meals at home.
The apartment was a perfect place to have a little relaxing get away with my pup. Its location is right next to a bunch of great hiking trails and the flat its self was spotless and well appointed. Bed was comfortable and the deck was perfect for relaxing. The internet was also strong enough for me to work remotely. Would definitely stay here again.
I would have given 5 stars if this was not an issue
It was an amazing stay at a cozy property. I would give 5/5 on everything except when it comes to the bed. Bed was not at all comfortable. Me and my partner both had severe back ache after sleeping on it for 2 nights straight. Even the bed frame was squeaking with a slight turn. Couldn’t sleep well.I wish the owner could fix the bed and we would surely return to the same property the next time when we are in Tahoe.

Thank you for your feedback. I am glad you had an amazing stay with us! A new mattress with bed frame is on the way.
This property was lovely, from the view to the indoor space! My husband nicknamed it the hobbit hole, it was a small space but oh so perfectly fitting. Local to many bars and restaurants, we truly enjoyed ourselves! Perfect outdoor space for our pup as well! Thankful to have been welcome.
A wonderful, cozy spot to launch your Heavenly adventure. Beautifully done with rock walls and wood floors. Big kitchen with table. Only 1 burner and small toaster oven, but very serviceable and well-appointed. We made some excellent meals with that set up.Very communicative and sweet hosts. Easy parking. And super close to the bottom of the stage clash loft. You can walk in less than 10 minutes or the shuttle comes fairly often.

A small, well-appointed apartment. Pros: The apartment was very clean upon arrival. Everything you might need for short stays. A nice place for a 1- 2 persons stay.A very nice small outside deck.Kitchen is small but has everything you need.Excellent water pressure. Cons:It is small, good for 1-2 people. There is really no place to sit inside other than the kitchen table. The futon is not made for comfortable seating. There are numerous very steep stairs down to the apartment, thus very steep stairs going back up to the parking area. Carrying bags and groceries isn’t easy. If you were to bring your furry kids, if you need to take them out to take care of business, up and down the stairs isn’t an easy task. There really isn’t anywhere for them the go as no grass around and up and down the narrow street to find a bush. We did not stay here with our dogs and got a pet friendly hotel why they were here. There is lots of road construction going on in the area. Tramway was actually closed off and we had to take alternate routes. Hopefully this won’t be going on for a long duration. It was going on for our entire stay.
