We loved this house - it is so unique! The ability for us to bring our dogs with us was definitely something we will come back for! Unfortunately however, the homeowner does not offer any snow removal - we arrived in a snow storm (they got about a foot that day) and we had no clue where the path was from the garage to the house. We managed, but definitely didn't want to have to shovel ourselves to the house during our short weekend trip. Other than that, excellent house, great location, comfy bed.. perfect!
Perfect for our needs.
Cozy house just outside the city. Perfect
Great week in Ithaca. Thanks again Bryan
Get time spending christmas. Place was great. Great area for hikes
Great house in a great location
The house is big and lovely, lots of great architectural details and very cozy. Plenty of room to hang out and the screened/glassed in porch on the back of the house is awesome. This house is really close to downtown as well as good hiking trails just up the road a bit. We had a great time, would definitely recommend this place!
Cozy Cabin in the Woods
This was our third stay in this house we love it more each time we stay! It has become our home away from home! The house is SO clean and has all of the amenities we need. The kitchen has all of the basics you'd need, plenty of living space and the bedrooms are spacious as well. It has everything you need for a perfect stay. In the mornings we always enjoy a quick walk through the woods to check out the gorge right next to the house. The owner Bryan is always easy to get in contact with if we need anything and is VERY accommodating with our needs. We are already looking forward to our next trip next Spring!
The house is nestled in a forest on the Western shores of Cayuga Lake, five miles from downtown Ithaca, and five miles south of Taughannock Falls State Park. Taughannock Falls is the highest falls east of the Mississippi, and is taller than Niagara Falls. The house is on the southern end of the Cayuga wine trail, home to many outstanding vineyards and wineries that offer exceptional wines. Cayuga Lake is over 40 miles long, and offers all kinds of recreation from kayaking to jet skiing. Ithaca is, literally, surrounded by and filled with gorgeous gorges.
