Welcome to LobsterCliff Cottage in East Boothbay! Our beautiful oceanfront cottage offers great amenities and some of the most breathtaking views you have ever seen, to provide you with the perfect setting for your Maine vacation. It is simply gorgeous here! Set high above the rocky shoreline where the open ocean meets the Damariscotta River, you will be close enough to hear the waves crashing on the rocks below and to see the abundant wildlife and working lobster boats.

Although it is only 10 minutes from all of the action in downtown Boothbay Harbor, LobsterCliff is a very peaceful and serene retreat. It is situated in a very quiet neighborhood and is directly on a scenic 2 mile road loop that hugs the coastline and is great for walking, running and biking.

Perfect cottage overlooking the bay. Was so nice each day seeing all the Lobster Boats go about their business! Sunrises were amazing as well!Everything was just perfect for us.

This was my second stay at LobsterCliff. I have stayed up and down the Maine coast many times, and find the view here to be my favorite. Plus it is within an hour's drive of so many things to see and do. The cabin is small, but is clean and has everything you will need. Pam is so easy to work with, as well.

Nice for one couple

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It is fine for one couple. The only real problem was the mattress in the bedroom was hard as a rock and low-quality. We never really got a good nights sleep. The linens were nice, but to me the actual quality of the mattress is way more important. The location is lovely, loved hiking and walking all around the area!

Dear Jeanne, I am so sorry to hear that you didn't sleep well during your stay. We try very hard not only to meet, but to exceed the expectations of our guests and take your feedback very seriously. While all of our mattresses are of very high quality, this one was purchased as a "firm" and may not suit everyone. We therefore have decided to purchase a new "medium" mattress for 2016. In the meantime, we always have a memory foam topper available for those guests who would like one. As I have mentioned in our correspondence, I sincerely hope that there is something we can do to remedy the situation for you and that you will come back and stay with us again in the future. Loved this Cottage!

Absolutely adorable cottage, exactly as pictured online. Very well stocked and very clean and homey. Deck with the view was by far the best part. We stayed in October, with the cooler temps at night, but there was a heater that kept us toasty warm.This is a small place and really best suited for a couple or small family. Check in/out was easy and Pam was great to work with. Carriage House Restaurant and the East Boothbay General Store had the best food and both are conveinantly located just down the street. Nice 2 mile loop walk located right outside the door. Would recommend this cottage.

Gorgeous ocean view

Waking up to the sound of the waves, incredibly beautiful sunrises, the cottage had everything we needed, a comfortable bed and a grill on the deck for the fresh catch of the day. At the cottage is a folder with all things to do, beaches, hikes, restaurants. We enjoyed our stay tremendously.

Beautiful Boothbay

LobsterCliff Cottage was a perfect choice for us. The location was close to restaurants, shopping and sights. We found the best views were right off the cottage deck. Beautiful sunrises with lobster boats right outside bringing in our next dinner, beautiful moon over the water (we saw the full Harvest Moon come up). Lots of suggestions from the property manager - thanks Pam! Perfect for the two of us.

Very sweet spot in East Boothbay

This cottage can’t be beat for coziness and a spectacular view. Perfect for 2 people. Pam and her partner were very responsive and a pleasure to work with. Morning sunrise can’t be beat. Location in quiet neighborhood with quick access to Boothbay Harbor, restaurants and area attractions. Very comfortable bed, clean and equipped with everything we needed. Spent 2 weeks here, enjoying the view, reading, doing puzzles and cooking great seafood (Pinkham’s market a wonderful addition to the area!). Definitely on our favorites list for a place to return!

Perfect getaway!

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. Each day we explored the area and loved coming back to relax on the deck with the beautiful view! The Adirondack chairs were our favorite spot! Thank you, Pam, for creating a lovely home with everything we could have needed!

Great view, great location and cozy cottage

This was the perfect place for a family of four with young children. While we had sweeping panoramic views of the water from our deck, it was nice having it fully enclosed so we didn’t have to keep chasing our 2-year old. The cottage was well-maintained, decor was very tasteful, and the furniture was comfortable and inviting. Pam was very responsive when we had questions, and left a great impression with us as a host. It was nice to arrive day one to a bottle of Prosecco chilled in the refrigerator! It was difficult to leave after only a week...

Beautiful view and comfortable cottage!

We truly enjoyed our week-long stay at Lobster Cliff Cottage in East Boothbay. The cottage was quite comfortable for the two of us. The view was absolutely beautiful! All and all, a five star experience!

Lobstah Cottage July 2017

We had a wonderful stay at the Lobstah Cottage this July. The cottage was clean and comfortable and had a view that was amazing. The cottage itself is small but contains everything you might need for cooking and/or relaxing. It's location is quiet and is convenient to Boothbay Harbor which is just a short drive away. The owner was very nice and easy to do business with. I highly recommend the Lobstah Cottage.

Beautiful getaway

This little cottage has all details taken care of. We loved waking up to watch the lobstermen checking traps right off the deck, and returning for a glass of wine in the evening. The view can't be beat and town is only ten minutes away for a bit more excitement and good restaurants. Pam is the most responsive host and her book of ideas and hints of the area is complete and helpful. She even left us a welcome gift of cheese, crackers, and a chilled bottle of Proseco which we quickly to out to the deck and enjoyed. The cottage is tiny and perfect for two people, but more than that could be tight. We would love to return to this little piece of heaven to rejuvenate and to explore Maine's beautiful coast.

A cozy little cottage just right for 2.

This was our second stay at Lobster Cliff Cottage and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The view from the deck is breathtaking to a couple of Highlanders from Western Maine. We hope to return for another stay next year.

Beautiful property

Such a great cabin set on a breath taking view. We fell in love with the cabin and the area. Clean place and everything was in working order. We didn't have an issue with anything at the cabin. We loved sitting on the deck in the evenings and waking up to the sunrise. Such a great vacation cabin and destination. We can't wait to go back.

Lovely cottage

My husband and I just returned from a wonderful seven day stay at Lobster Cliff. The cottage is just what we expected and wanted for my birthday week in Maine. It is small but large enough for a couple and a couple of children but having just one bath, it might be a little tight for two couples. It was spotless and the bed and bath linens were plush and a very nice quality as was the comfortable queen bed in the master bedroom. We did not use the other bedroom with twin beds, but they appeared to be nice and comfortable as well. The view is to die for! Lobster Cliff is perched high above the water so we could see the sunrise each morning and by the way, it rises much earlier than where we live in the South. We watched all different types of boats each day from lobster men working their pots, sailboats to beautiful wooded boats. The scenery changed every hour on the hour. The weather was beautiful the entire time except it rained one day during the week. It got warm in the cottage a few afternoons during the week but it cooled down in the evenings. It would be nice to have an air conditioner for those very hot days. We walked the two mile loop every morning and it is a pleasant walk. It has a few inclines along the way so it can give you a small challenge during your walk. The view is lovely, part being along the ocean. Pam was excellent to work with. She answered my emails within a short period of time each time I sent one with questions. She even left us cookies and banana bread for our arrival. What an unexpected treat! We are looking forward to returning to Lobster Cliff in the future.

Relaxation

What a great experience. So much to do in the area and a great cottage to use as a base or just stay there and relax in the sunshine on the large deck. The views are terrific. Cottage was very clean and well equipped, including Wi-Fi, which turned out to be very helpful. Great walking around the peninsula. This area is away from the large crowds of southern Maine and this promotes the relaxation. If you golf we highly recommend the Boothbay Harbor Country Club, which is nearby.

My wonderful summer retreat by the sea

I wish I could have stayed in that cottage forever! This vacation gave me everything I needed and then some. Spending time on the deck that overlooks the ocean was my therapy. Gorgeous sun and moon rises over the ocean. Loved sitting on the lobster trap chairs, drinking my coffee in the morning while watching lobstermen fish traps, and then watching the stars at night so close you can pluck them from the sky. Enjoyed the private view of the water - where I could watch boats, seals, dolphin, birds, and fish go by. And the lobster everywhere in Boothbay is fantastic!!! Will be back for sure!

Can't wait to return!

The view from the deck was everything we had hoped for. Absolutely gorgeous. The cottage itself is small, but adequate for our needs, and it was clean and well stocked. We loved that the road was quiet but the location not so remote that we couldn't scoot into BB to restaurants, and there are excellent ones to choose from as well as the General Store right in EBB. The only issue was the lack of cell phone reception. We could use the landline for restaurant reservations, so that helped. I loved that the Maine Botanical Garden was just a few miles away. I would recommend this cottage for a restful vacation stay and we plan to return next season.

Perfect Maine get-away. Breathtaking view!

Our stay at Lobster Cliff Cottage was perfect. The cottage is small but is very comfortable has everything you need. It is beautifully decorated and so cozy. The view off the deck is simply amazing. We could sit all day and watch the ocean, boats, and birds. The kids loved to watch the lobster boats check their traps. We enjoyed walking the 2 mile neighborhood loop stopping each day so the kids could climb on the rocks by the sea. The binder full of local information on where to shop, dine and hike came in very handy. The town of Boothbay Harbor is just 15 minutes away full of restaurants, shops and tours. We enjoyed the 2 hour Eastwind Schooner cruise. We also took day trips to Camden and Portland for shopping and hiking. This was a perfect family get-away. It would also be a lovely romantic get-away as well. We can't wait to come back!
