WILDLIFE WARNING
Please be aware that wildlife populations including mule deers, racoons, coyotes, rattlesnakes, and black bears are high in the area (particularly March-October). We kindly remind families to keep a close eye on children, avoid leaving food outside (including residue in the grill and fire), secure all garbage, and keep doors and windows closed.

CELL SERVICE
Please note that there is no cell coverage within 45 minutes of the Wander Yosemite Valley property.

To assist with this, we recommend taking note of the WiFi password and access code before your trip.

ACCESSIBILITY
The drive up to the home is a slow, single-lane, inclined dirt road. Please drive slowly and carefully, as it can be tricky to pass through at night. The driveway is to the right of the gate.

SECURITY
For security, there is are ring cameras on the exterior of the front door and carpark at this Wander. There are no other cameras inside your Wander home.

NO PETS
This is a pet-free hypoallergenic space. In accordance with Yosemite National Park regulations and to protect the natural environment and local wildlife, we kindly ask that you leave pets at home when planning your stay. This policy helps preserve the park's delicate ecosystem and ensures a safe experience for all guests and animals alike.

FISHING ON THE RIVER
Fishing is permitted along the Merced River, including directly in front of the home. A valid California state fishing license is required for all anglers. Please be sure to follow all local and state fishing regulations.

HOT TUB ACCESS
The hot tub is available for guest use but must be turned on prior to arrival. Please let us know in advance if you would like hot tub access during your stay.

AMENITY NOTICE
Outdoor Kitchen
Important: The outdoor kitchen space is currently blocked off, so guests will not be able to use the following outdoor amenities: fire pit, grill, and pizza oven.

If the outdoor kitchen is confirmed to be accessible, the fire pit outdoors should not be lit between June to November due to wildfire risk. Meanwhile, the pizza oven is off-limits to guests strictly unless operated by an approved personal chef.

While wildfires are rare, it’s important to remain prepared and aware during your stay.

Stay alert: Keep an eye on local fire conditions, especially during summer and dry seasons. You can check Cal Fire’s website or ask our Concierge for updates.

Emergency alerts: Ensure your phone is set to receive emergency notifications. We recommend enabling “Emergency Alerts” in your phone settings.

No outdoor fires: Absolutely no outdoor fires, fire pits, or fireworks are permitted at this property. This is a strict safety rule and part of local regulations.

Evacuation readiness: In the unlikely event of an evacuation, please follow instructions from local authorities and the Wander Concierge team.

Please note that there is active construction taking place next door to Wander Yosemite Valley.

Construction hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

While the home remains fully accessible and operational, the construction will be audibly disruptive during these hours. We want all guests to be aware in advance so you can make the best decision for your stay experience.
