Enjoy a unique experience by staying in our yurt on a quiet ranch.

Never been in a yurt? It is a tent-like circular fabric structure with a wood lattice frame. Our yurt has comfortable furnishings such as a queen bed with linens, a propane free standing stove, electric lighting, 32' flat screen HD tv, fully equipped kitchen (including oven, microwave, refrigerator, plates, pots, etc.) and a bathroom with a shower. There are several fans (overhead and free standing oscillating) along with a window air conditioner unit. The floors are polished pine wood with French doors that open to a deck with meadow and forested views.

Leave your worries at home as this is a place to come and unwind.
Near hiking, lakes, restaurants, quaint downtown, and historic gold mines.

This yurt is non-smoking.

Sweet Yurt, close to town. Perfect for a quick get-a-way and not wanting to set up a tent! The host has thought of everything we would need and left thoughtful touches - coffee, milk and brownies (thank you!). Towels and linens were fresh and clean. We will be back!

The place was great very comfortable and quaint. The host and husband were fabulous great to work with and check to make sure we had all we needed for our stay. Chio was very cool coming to say hi every day very friendly and polite.

It is what it says. A big yurt, among the trees, where you will be awakened by singing birds and distant hoots from owls! Alittle chill in the air made sleeping peaceful and cozy, and the fire in the morning warmed it right up for coffee and apple crisp, which was lovingly left by the owners. The location was nice as we were visiting friends in grass valley just down the road. The water pressure and temp was dreamy and had shampoo and conditioner for use, along with giant towels. The poodle, Chino, was also very welcoming! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Jeanette and Mike are such nice people. They were wonderful and friendly hosts. The Yurt is beautifully set in the trees and waking to the songbirds in the morning was almost better than the comfy bed. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic hosts and place!

This is our third time staying at this wonderful and relaxing yurt. The hosts (Jeanette and Michael) are the most warm and gracious hosts. We were greeted with a delicious peach cobbler and fresh coffee. Thank you for making our Anniversary memorable, once again.

The property was easy to get through, a good location, a short drive from Grass Valley, clean, spacious. Overall, I could not imagine a better place to stay. Host was very communicative and helpful and helped me work through a VRBO bug where the VRBO was confirming different dates. Thanks for helping and hanging in there. Will certainly stay here again when I'm in the area.

The yurt was quiet and beautiful and had all the features and amenities you could want. Michael and Jeanette were wonderful hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. We had an excellentl nights sleep and will be returning on our next visit.

The perfect spot and country area to RELAX, listen to the birds sing and breath away the stress!Unique and special Yurt indeed with efficient amenities, built up solid and lovely beyond what you'd expect! Our stay at The Yurt was wonderful. Great fun. Jeanette and her husband are excellent hosts. Everything was provided, and Jeanette even added a few extra touches. I would definitely stay there again in a heartbeat.
