Beautiful home and property. The owners were incredibly kind. The cabin was well kept and stocked. We spent most of our time exploring around different cities but when we came back to sleep it was very quiet and peaceful. We absolutely enjoyed our stay there. The view of the Sleeping Ute Mountain was incredible.
Spacious and very well stocked cabin with fabulous views and welcome quiet. Great place to stay to explore the area. Dan and Norma are wonderful hosts. I highly recommend this property

Wonderful home and host
great place to come back to after exploring the area!
Affordable, very clean, very private, and super friendly hosts! All amenities were provided.. anything you use in your daily life… it’s there! The property is beautiful and our family had a blast! Having a child under (2) they had a baby gate available which we needed for the stairs, and a pack and play (which we didn’t need) but great they had it available. We even got to feed to horses with the family! Highly recommended! And about 15 minutes from town. We can’t wait to go back!
Dan and Norma were helpful and attentive while still respecting my privacy. They are good people! This pet-friendly cabin setting is so quiet and peaceful which helped me sleep soundly. My dog loved exploring the property and visiting Dan and Norma's dog. My wife and I (and oyr little dog Kasey) would love to stay here again in the future. Thank you Dan and Norma.

Beautiful setting with many fascinating nearby sites to visit. Lovely hosts who have thought of every detail. So glad we got to come back for another stay.
Cabin is located on a working farm with acres of crops such as barley and alfalfa. Hosts/owners are nearby and very accommodating. Cabin is clean and comfortable. Host insures you have all your basic needs. Lots of areas nearby to explore and enjoy. Relaxing in the very quiet and beautiful setting is stellar! If you’re in the area be sure to make it your stay.

Thank you!
This cabin exceeded all of our expectations! The owners were very friendly and quick to reply to any questions. Very well stocked with everything you might need.
Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay. Dan and Norma are super friendly and great hosts. We visited the Moab area, Durango and Silverton, and Telluride. Perfect location for all. Cabin was super nice and clean! Can’t wait to go back.
Came to visit family with our dogs in tow. Loved having a place close to them that allowed pets. Also loved waking up and taking them on a walk down the road and letting them run off leash, since the road has no other houses on it past the site.

Thank you Kyle. I will get the slats on sliding door. The celebration for your parents was nice. Take care!
Norma and Dan were gracious hosts. Their impeccably maintained cabin was our favorite place to stay during our 2 week tour of CO. It was a little taste of home away from home. We hope to return.
Staying at Norma and Dan's VRBO was amazing. They created a home away from home for us. We are so comfortable. They were right next door and very responsive and friendly. We will plan on staying there on our next trip to the area. Anyone who stays here will be pleased!

Dear Jennifer and family,
It was delightful to host your family. Your children was so appreciative of the country setting. Thank you for choosing the cabin to stay in. I hope the rest of your vacation was equally pleasurable.
Dan and Norma really make you feel at home. Personable, but non-intrusive and give your privacy. We loved their welcoming committee of dogs. It was a wonderful stay!!
Dan and Norma’s farm cabin was the perfect place for our weekend getaway! They were so kind and their place had everything you needed! The views from the balcony are amazing and I highly recommend watching sunset from there! 10/10 recommend!
We also visited Mesa Verde National Park which was incredible. Tours of the cliff dwellings are a must!

About the host
Hosted by Dan Duncan, property owner
Dan grew up 7 miles northwest of current home. He is a retired pilot, who flew so he could farm and ranch. Norma retired (5/2016) after 31 years of teaching and now I quilt and try to keep up. We have lived here 23 years, lived in Montana for 12 years and Las Vegas for 11 years.
Why they chose this property
This home was originally built because our son was an officer in the Marine Corps and it was his home when he came home for extended times. He now comes back a few times a year and our extended family and friends come to stay and enjoy the privacy.
We are centrally located to many of the main attractions in Southwest Colorado. The land we are located on have a view of the Sleeping Ute Mountain, the La Plata range, Blue Mountains and Lizzard Head.
What makes this property unique
You will love the view, solitude, and the stars at night.
