Thank you so much for the wonderful review Katrina! We love hearing that you went old school by the fire with a movie night. That’s exactly the kind of unplugged downtime Karmic Cabin is made for, and it sounds like you made the most of it. We’re glad the water pressure and water quality made a good impression, and even happier that all three of your pups got to enjoy the getaway with you. Four-legged guests are always welcome here. Thank you for the tip about directions. You’re right that navigation apps don’t take you all the way to the door, so looking for “The Retreat” sign and following the arrival instructions from there is the way to go. Your note will help future guests arrive without the guesswork. We’d love to host you, your family, and the dogs again at The Retreat at High Rock. Safe travels until next time! Warm regards, Tina The Retreat at High Rock

We wanted to try out a tiny house. This met the mark, it was small but accommodating. I wish we had a head up that the toilet was a composting toilet not plumbed. If you are looking for a complete shut down weekend, this is the place no cell signal or Wi-Fi. We enjoyed the peacefulness.

Nice area. There were dirty plates. A dead bug on the mattress. No wifi at all. The tp link router in the bathroom was broken, wouldn't power up.

Thank you for your feedback Mehran and for staying with us at The Retreat. We’re glad you enjoyed the surrounding area and appreciate you bringing a few concerns to our attention. We take cleanliness very seriously and our cabins are professionally cleaned and inspected before each arrival. We did not find any dirty plates during our post-stay inspection, but we will certainly review this with our housekeeping team to ensure everything continues to meet our standards. Wish you had taken a few pics. Regarding the Wi-Fi, the cabin does have a working router and internet service, and we wish we had been notified during your stay so we could have come by right away to check the connection or provide assistance. We always try to resolve any issues immediately when guests reach out. Thank you again for your feedback. Guest comments help us continue improving the experience for everyone, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future.
