Great location, lovely cottage. We really appreciated the ‘extras’ - snacks, drinks, and treats for the resident wildlife. The chickens, bunnies, ducks, and turkeys (beautiful!) were a memorable highlight of our stay.

The cottage was beautiful and spotless. The hosts were very friendly and check-in was flawless. We really enjoyed the screened in porch and the various farm animals / pets that strolled by occasionally. We visit Gettysburg often and will certainly stay here again.

The cottage is charming. On point for decor in historical area. The thoughtful amenities like chilled glasses, ice ready, big thirsty towels shows the owners think about guest needs. The absolute highlight is feeding the bunnies, welcome committee of chickens and turkeys that come visit guests as informal hosts. Memorable and charming experience.

Great property located a short ride from downtown Gettysburg. Everything was clean and well kept. Chris also provided snacks and items in the refrigerator which was a nice surprise. They also have a number of turkeys, chickens, ducks and rabbits on the property. Chris provided a bag of treats for the rabbits and chickens. A number of the rabbits would come up and eat out of my hand. The other animals are entertaining to watch as you sit out on the screened in porch and relax.If I'm in area again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

We stayed for 2 nights and the stay was perfect for us as a couple. Chris was great in communicating and making it very easy to check in and check out. We loved the location which was only about 10 minutes from all the Gettysburg Historic park areas. Also loved the setting of the cottage with the wooded area and animals that came to visit us as we walked to and from our car. The small welcoming elements were also great- some drinks in the refrigerator and snacks on the table. Would definitely stay again.

If you want a peaceful stay away from the noise of town this is it. But you are still only 10 minutes away.You will be greeted by bunnies, turkeys and ducks. Inside the cabin is very nice, updated and clean. The owner has thought of everything including some food to feed the animals. A nice touch was the gift of fresh eggs upon leaving.We come to Gettysburg quite often and will probably never stay anywhere else.I would give it a 15 out of 10.
