The location of the house was surprisingly central to a lot of food options and activities, which was a huge plus for us. It did get a bit warm inside during the day, but the window AC unit was helpful. The house was otherwise nice and cozy and fit our needs quite well. Would definitely stay again!
We had such a lovely family time dropping our son off to CIA school just 30 minutes away. Yvonne and her daughter were extremely wonderful. Attentive responsive and supportive. We even had fresh fruit from the garden and the place was clean perfect and everything you need! We will be staying again anytime we visit our son, would highly recommend!
The home was fine and accurately described inside. Clean, well furnished, some "welcome" food items provided, basically everything needed once we got inside the home. What is very hidden in the cute cover picture is the very extreme gradient of the driveway and the dangerous entry climb to the front porch. For a person with some mobility issues, the large steps and lack of handrails was a big concern. It was a very challenging task each time to help my wife up and down the steps, especially in the rain. The bush should be removed from hindering the steps and a railing extended from the driveway all the way to the porch. We would not stay there again. To describe the property as "not wheelchair accessible" does not come close to accurately describing the entrance.
Loved the location: 10 min to downtown SR, next to a state park, middle of sonoma county. Host provided more than the essentials with coffee, wine, fresh eggs, snacks. Had a country feel with chickens and surrounded by grape vines.
Well run, well appointed with a few stocked staples.
The Hostess was courteous and professional. Saw us settled in and then left us to ourselves to enjoy our stay.
Would highly recommend this VRBO!
There really isn't a full kitchen if you want to dine at the house, and the chairs are not comfortable (inside or out), not to mention the papasan that tossed me unceremoniously on the floor 🤣 so you're really stuck with just sitting on the couch. Lights were rather interesting to peg down as well without switches (older house challenge). Also, you can't use the driveway unless you have an SUV, we bottomed out the rental sedan (darn CA hills).
But the beds were comfortable, everything was organized and labeled for easy access. The A/C worked if you left the doors open and put the fans in the doorway (it was 85-100 all week!), and of course it cools down nicely overnight. It worked for our base to tour wine country, the price was fair, and the owner who lives next door was very responsive. I might not stay again unless the kitchen gets a normal and complete set of dinnerware, flatware and cookware, as we like to save money by cooking most meals while traveling - to spend more on the wine and experience itself!! 😉
This place felt comfortable, like home, but without the extra drama. It was one of the easiest check ins I've ever had. In addition, everything is there! There was a blender, coffee (yay!), spices, bottled water, pots, pans, dishes...There was a bottle of wine and goodies on the table to greet us! There were many "extras" that I wasn't expecting. There are multiple places to eat breakfast. It is rural enough to feel relaxing, but all the amenities of city life. In other words, perfect! The location is great too! I highly recommend Ivonne's home and look forward to our next trip!
My family and I had a great time, Ivonne was get helpful and responsive and her house is in a great neighborhood!

Doesn’t comfortably fit 6
First I’d like to preface this by the host being very responsive and understanding. however, we ended up leaving after one night instead of 3. we had 4 adults and 2 kids but adults can’t comfortably sleep on a double bed and the air mattress leaked air throughout the night. also, none of the beds had top sheets on them which was not comfortable to sleep with at all and made us very cautious because most places don’t exactly wash the comforter every time. the towels seemed brand new but like they hadn’t been washed yet so they still had that brand new towel/chemical smell. also, only 1 hand towel was provided for 6 people. the back patio was not how it was pictured AT ALL. the one we got seemed like a storage area for junk and not the clean seating area listed. we’ve stayed at many places before and this one felt like the most money we’ve ever spent with the least amount of comfort or amenities. ivonne tried to make it right but in the end we still got ripped off and spent way too much money for only 12 hours.
Stayed at the house for two nights during a recent trip to the area. Convienient location to the wineries in Sonoma County. Grocery store less than a mile away. House had all the amenities we needed during the trip.
Adorable neighborhood and easy access to downtown. Great walking distance to groceries and a super cute coffee place just around the corner. Home provided all we needed! Love the grapes growing all around us too!

Thank you for the great review , I am glad you have enjoyed the stay!
Great place to stay! We had a family wedding at one of the vineyards and the location was great, easy to find and very clean! Would stay again if heading out there!
This property was a great place to stay in wine country with 6 people at a very reasonable cost. The beds could use a good mattress topper and a few more mirrors around the house for getting ready, but overall a good stay.
The owners live next door, so if there was anything you needed they were available.

Probably the best VRBO experience I’ve had
This was probably the best vacation home experience I’ve had. It was in a great neighborhood and I felt lucky to get this location since it’s about 15 mins away from downtown Santa Rosa and downtown Sonoma. The house was set up with snacks and it really felt welcoming. So glad I was able to spend my vacation at this location!

A great place for vacation
A friend and I stayed at Ivonne's place for 2 nights while we were visiting Sonoma for wine tasting. We both really enjoyed our stay. Communication was excellent and Ivonne went out of her way to make us feel welcome and made sure we had a pleasant stay, we both really appreciated the extra effort she put in. Upon arrival we were welcomed with a bottle of her wine which was delicious and a basket of snacks. The place had everything we required for our stay. Ivonne made some excellent recommendations for what we could so while we were there. We wished we had more time there. I would highly recommend staying with Ivonne.
